    Angry Charged without using internet on Airtel

    I have called on airtel's customer care number 198 quite a few times to sort out the internet issues(I have charged without using internet), and many times I have been forced to wait for a long time(sometimes even for 15-17 minutes) for the customer care executive to pick up the phone.I am facing the problem for the past 2 weeks.

    I ask the question to the Customer care executives: Isn't our time important? Don't we have other important stuff to do rather than listen to the airtel tune for half-hour??

    All I can say is Airtel's Customer Care is too incompetent and incapable to deal with the huge amount of complaints (which would not be there if Airtel improves its services in the first place).

    I ask the question to the Airtel Managers: Isn't our time important? Don't we have other important stuff to do rather than listen to the airtel tune for half-hour??

    All I can say is Airtel's Customer Care is too incompetent and incapable to deal with the huge amount of [COLOR=#009900 !important]complaints[/COLOR] (In recent days they have deducted nearly 300 rupees if i ask them they are giving reckless answer and they are not saying about the amount deductions )

    Default Complaint Against Airtel Customer Care 9890098900

    I am using Airtel card since 2008. My card plan was 'Friend Circle'. On 25th April, my card's validity was expiring. So I called on 24th April on 121. I discuss my problem with the executive and ask him to give me that amount in which I can avail 1 year validity and then he suggest me that I have to recharge with 'Rs. 110'. I again confirm with him, that my card was 'Friend Circle' , so once again you check and tell me the amount. He said that I will get 1 year validity & Rs. 90 talk time. Because from the last 4 years, I always call customer care for 4 to 5 times for confirming the amount on the expiration of my card validity. And surprisingly I always have different amount told by the executives. But right now my situation is different.

    I was not able to recharge my number on 25th April. Finally I recharged my number on 28th April. But I only got 90 days validity and zero balance. So I call customer care on '9890098900' and told them whole story. He told me that he registered my complain and I will receive call from Airtel within 48 hr to resolve my issue. But I did not receive yet. And he did not gave me any reference number. He also said that my card plan was changed to normal plan. This is really fucking big issue for me even not for you. Some guy who don't have any idea what I am talking about & gives me some random RECHARGE PLAN, that change my card plan. After that I asked him to transfer my call to his supervisor. He transferred my call but no one was there to response my call. I am writing this after calling customer care continuously 11 times in 2 days.

    6 to 7 times I was like repeating my whole story to them, they all transferring my call to supervisor but no one there to attend it. My call automatically disconnected after 5 mins. I again ask to transfer my call to some other supervisor, then they ask me to contact Nodal officer. I called Nodal officer on 9987234865, but I am facing the same problem, no was there to attend it. So I called to 198 to register my complain.

    I called 198 for 3 times. First time some lady pick up and after listening my issue, she hang up. Second time, again there was some lady, again I told my issue, she told me that I cant get that 'Friend Circle' again. I have to continue my new plan. That time I said, where is my fault. I simply ask for plan and you people just don't even bother to take it serious. I asked her to register my complain, she told me to first talk to his supervisor in this regard. Again she transferred my call to his supervisor. No one was there to attend it. I again called 198, this time some guy pick it up, I again told him my whole story, surprisingly he said "PLEASE CONTACT THE DEALER FROM WHERE YOU HAD DONE YOUR RECHARGE, IT IS DEALER PROBLEM WHO RECHARGE YOUR CARD WITH WRONG AMOUNT" I told him that your exec told me about the recharge amount, so how can it be the dealer's problem. Then he said "DEALER RECHARGED YOUR CARD IN OTHER RS. 110 VALIDITY MODE". I again ask him 'you people told me to recharge my card with Rs. 110, I recharged it accordingly. And now you are telling me, that there are two offers going on Rs. 110'. He said "ON ONE RS. 110, YOU WILL GET 1 YEAR VALIDITY AND RS. 99 TALK TIME, AND ON ANOTHER RS. 110 YOU WILL HAVE 275 MINS A TO A FREE. YOU SHOULD ASKED THE DEALER TO RECHARGE ACCORDINGLY". I told him this is your duty to keep me aware that there are two recharge. And if there was anything then you people should have told me first.

    Right now I am really fucked up by the whole conversation of your executives. They are very arrogant & don't even bother to listen carefully. They don't have knowledge and pretend that they know everything. If they don't have much knowledge then they should consult there seniors. It is not our duty to remind them that please check it one more time. They treated us like we are some sort of mad person who don't have any work to do & they call for their time pass.

    i had called customer care an hour back for activation of my airtel sim,which was expected to activate a back.
    customer care executive said that due to delay in verification process card is not being activated. but i have received the recharge amount on card but cant call.how can airtel facilitate recharge if verification is not done and if verification is taking so much of time then why cant airtel first activate the card and deactivate it if verification result is not valid?

    Default calls not coming (number was ported from IDEA)

    From 20th April i am facing this problem and tried every way but airtel is not even telling me that whether this problem will be solved or not? or when it will be resolved.

    Problem Summary:
    Not getting incoming from numbers except airtel Delhi NCR numbers.
    Number was ported from IDEA to AIRTEL.
    Number is 8745953095.

    Hi,



    I got my IDEA number ported to AIRTEL on 20-04-2012 around about 12:30PM. It was working fine. I activated it by calling 123 and retailer did the FRC. But from afternoon i not getting calls on it. So i checked and came to know that persons from landline and outside Delhi NCR( landline and mobile both) are not able to call me.

    They are getting beep from 3-4 times and calling getting ended.

    I called 198 and that CSD guy said try by changing mobile and it will work, but it didn't. I called again but after selecting that 5th option for network related query it got IVR that dial *123# to check balance and call get disconnected.

    Is this because that CSD guy has marked my number in blocked list.

    Really this is not acceptable from AIRTEL. I am an old user of AIRTEL thats why i changed my this number (8745953095) to AIRTEL from IDEA.

    My old number is 9897318789.

    I hope that switching to AIRTEL is a not wrong decision?

    Kindly look into this. I am working in Infosys for Airtel Money.

    Work is getting affected.

    Default complaints against airtel cutomer care 121

    i have called airtel 121 7 days ago they lodge my complaiment on 25/04.They gave me complaint no CBNRA30425724590 and told me that complaint will get resolved on 27/04 and money will be refunded but till now i didnt get any response and airtel contact numbers are also not responding.DO they take cutomer complaint seriously???
