    Angry Threatening calls from Airtel many time for No mistake from customer side

    Hi Sir/Madam

    I am a IBM employee from 5 years and I am using artel post paid connection from many years. But recently I moved to USA after marriage.
    On 21st may 2011, the I was travelling to USA, I gave a request to cancel my number and send me the settlement amount to my personal mail ID as I can not access my office mail id as im on leave.

    But my number is active still.

    Someone gives my parents threatening calls to my parents saying that they will pull my mother and father to police station.

    On 10th of August 2011, my parents got a call from 8042837828 number and the person used abusive language to my parents and said he will pull my parents to police station and all.

    I gave sent a mail to airtel on the same day and said that I have not got my final settlement for the payment which airtel had to send me. But I got the bill including the rent for 2 months. I came to know that they have not disconnected my connection and they have charged me the rent too. 5

    I made the payment for Rs 3965 which I used out of Rs 4500.

    I spoke with the customer care manager Mr Ravi kumar and he said the mistake is from Airtel and he said I no need to make any more payment and my parents wont get any calls from that person and gave me 39066011 as complaint number.

    Again on 13th august, my parents get threatening call from same guy and he spoke even worse on that day.

    I spoke to the customer care manager and that person doesn't even aware of any of these communication. Again I had to explain about the call and he confirmed me that I no need to make any payment and they will take action for the person who called my parents.

    Today ie on 23ed...I get a Airtel post paid bill for my number (9008777000) which is cancelled on 21st may 2011 and the person called my parents again.

    Please take action regarding the threatening calls because of which people who live with respect has to suffer for the mistake they have not done and though from the beginning mistake was from Airtel and we had to suffer.

    In short
    21st may 2011- Request was raised to cancel the number 900877700 from Kormangala branch Bangalore.
    10th august - got first threatening call from Mr Praveen from 8042837828 number and he was from airtel. (agreed by airtel customer care rep)
    13th august - got the threatening call from the same person and he used abusive words

    I sent many mails to airtel regarding the same and spoke to the managers many times.

    23ed August 2011 - I get Airtel postpaid number for cancelled number

    Hello Sir,

    Thank you for the reply.
    I got a airtel postpaid bill for my number 9008777000 again for Rs 412. I spoke with the airtel customer care manager again this morning and he is not aware of the discussion between previous 2 Customer care managers I had. He is not aware of that I no need to make any payment as my number is disconnected and also told by the 2 managers i previously spoke with. after getting confirmation for cancellation of my number and after getting verbal confirmation that I no need to make any payment from officers, I am still getting bills to my mail id. Please listen to the recordings for all the confirmation from managers.

    I live in Florida, USA. I moved from bangalore on 22ed may. I no need to make any payment and before moving to Florida I cancelled my number.

    I have given all my contact details to airtel when i called to customer care and all the formation. But each customer care executive is unaware of previous conversation. I request you to contact all the customer care executive mangers whith whom I spoke.

    i am using airtel sim (9500871094) in tamilnadu.... i have an original sim card...now i'm came to north india last 3 months....last 2 weeks my number not working but some one take this number and gave different address and name also.... he's doing cheating my realtive's and my customer cal to that number he doing wrong way..so pls block the number......as soon as possible

    Thumbs down Getting bills from Airtel for cancelled number

    Hi Sir,

    My airtel postpaid number 9008777000 is cancelled on may 21st 2011. My parents and I had to suffer a lot for this as I mentioned in my previous complaints.
    Again last month I got one more bill from airtel for around Rs 400. I sent a mail to Airtel asking why am I getting this notification again and again for the number which is not in use from may 21st 2011? but I didnt not get any reply for that till now.

    This is not acceptable at all. I am getting mails from airtel to make the payment of some Rs 200+ for July 2011. But I got a confirmation mail that my number is disconnected and I no need to make any payment anymore. Please do check the recordings in which the customer care exp told me clearly.Why should I make the payment for july 2011 if my my number is disconnected on 21st may 2011??? Why am I getting mails for ECS deduction even after I got a mail from Airtel it self that ECS is cancelled ??? what is happening??
