    Default Airtel charging for data per minute while I had a 1 GB plan on

    I am on a 1GB plan which is about rs 60 twice a month automatically recharged. My plan was getting over on Aug 15th and the next recharge should have kicked in after that , however Airtel seems to have charged me on data usage, more than 200 rupees has been deducted. i couldn't even call customer care this morning.



    Customer care complaints

    i have called customer care 3 times been on hold for more than 14 minutes and got no help.

    i wanted to get a list of my last 5 transactions - i know this is possible by sending an sms to a number however your cutomer care person called Mahesh said its not possible and if i need a month's transaction i will have to go to the relationship center. I ASKED FOR LAST 5 AND NOT A MONTH.



    i wanted to switch to a 98 rupee plan which is 2gb your customer care said that if i call and activate or switch to this i get 1 GB and if i buy a voucher i may still get 2 GB.

    how does airtel manage to give a 2 different plans at the same price



    My language got switched from English to Kanada - how can this happen without me switching it. In all this i had to pay for customer care.

    I have been with airtel for mroe than 8 years but switching to a provider with better customer service seems a better option now
    You have terrible customer care now and this theme of charging for data has gone on for too long. 200 rupees isnt a joke and wonder if i need to keep sending reminders that i have a data plan




    Resolution

    need a 98 rupee data plan for 2gb activated. i still can get through to customer service long enough to get this plan again. i wonder why they de-activated it in the first place

    need list of last 5 transactions as i need to know why i have been charged for downloads when i have a data plan and it had 1 gb on it and it hadnt been used completely. i have measured my usage of internet and i'm sure it hasnt gone over 1 gb this is form 14th and 15th

    Hey Mia. Not sure where you are from but you can try dialing *567# cause as much as i know, it's used all over the nation for activating and deactivating gprs plans and you'll see all the current 2g plans offered by airtel and also get the option for activating and deactivating those plans. I heard that airtel has recently hiked up their gprs plans so now customers will only get 1gb for 98rs instead of the 2gb that we'd get normally but if you activate it through *567# then you'll still get 2gb for 98rs but first you'll have to deactivate your curent plan and as i said, you can both activate and deactivate your gprs plans by dialing *567# and there's no need to call CC for activation and eactivation. As for the refund for the amount deducted from your a/c only the guys from Airtel can help you with that...hope this helps you.
