    Angry Mobile Number portability Complaint of airtel

    Hello sir,

    My name is Rohit my no is 9970742727 presently am in 1ps/sec plan.
    I sent port sms on 21st of July 2011 AirTel person called me on 24 of July 2011 and she asked why your going to
    other network. I said poor signal in my home town and high call charges.
    Then she asked my address to clear network issue and,
    She said we will give you a offer A-A 1p/6sec A-Other 1p/2sec this offer is valid for 180 days and it’s free for 30 days after 30 days daily 1rs deducted from your main account this offer is active within 48 hrs. And send message CPR mobile no. to 51619...
    I said this same offer was given to me since last 2 months but no any activation is done yet...
    then she said this time definately your offer get activated...

    And when i called to your customer care they said that your r not eligible for this offer.......
    What should i do...
    My offer is pending since last 2 months.....

    Dear Sir,

    I am using Idea post paid cell No 9911055222 since last 3-4 year and because of net work problem i put my request on 8/6/2011 vide Id 224555 to port my number to vodaphone . Even Vodaphone executine had chaged Rs 250 from me vide recipt no 23068 ( fast track a unit of consortium bio technologies pvt ltd)
    which is against the rules as there in no charges for post paid connection.

    but still my number is not being shifted to vodaphone as i have already paid all dues to idea.

    i ve been using Airtel prepaid service for the past 6 yrs. My no. is 9954214776. Off late i ve been facing ntwrk problem n other problems so i wished to shift to BSNL prepaid with number portability. Ever since i ve applied for porting out i ve been gettings calls from airtel as to why i want to shift n that they wud solve all my problems. But today a person called DIGANTA called me from 9954009060 and asked same questions and said ur call charges will become less and ur ntwrk problem will be solved if u send an sms writing "MNPC" and send it to 51619. I verified whether it will effect my portability request..he simply denied... I trusted him and as soon as i sent that sms i immediately got a reply dat my port out cancellation request has been accepted. I want to ask the authority of Airtel... Ur employees r cheaters and simply misguiding d customers... when i talked to customer care the lady concerned had no answer but said she belongs to a different depatment n dat she cant give any information...and the height of stupidity from her is dat she disconnected the phone... may i ask u please if u cant provide any information what r u taking d salary for why r u people sitting in d customer care.... Moreover how can an employee tell lie for cancelling my number portability request...does this service in Airtel only means people coming to airtel n lot leaving... u shud stop the system then..and people like Diganta shud be fired... i will never recommend any1 to take Airtel connection who r simply cheaters... I never asked for cancellation of my porting out request.... moreover i tried to call back in 9954009060..but failed...This simply means i need to reapply for number portability...and i will be harrassed again everyday.. why shud i continue with airtel if i am facing such kind of problems..moreover the call charge is so high if an sms is Rs 1.50 isnt it height of everything?Airtel is no more the best service sorry to say that..... i ve been using my present number for the past 6 yrs....n sorry i cant continue after the misbehaviour and cheating...

    I have been trying to port out of Airtel (post paid mobile) since March without success. Each time Airtel has give some new excuse or the other.
    1) March 11, 2011. Porting ID AZ147371: Reason given "contractual obligations" with no further explanation. On further investigation I discovered that the phone, though in my name was billed to my company. Changed over to entirely in my name.
    2) April 1, 2011. Porting ID AZ528841: Reason given "contractual obligations"; This turned out to be because 90 days need to pass after it is moved to my name (despite the fact that I was a customer for 6 years!).
    3) June 22, 2011. Porting ID AZ929445: No reason given!
    4) July 13, 2011. Porting ID AZ963821: No reason given!
    5) July 29, 2011. Porting ID AZ553283: Possess a "golden number" - 98600-19996, which was issued 6 years back and where NO REQUEST was made for any special number (our company was given two numbers at that time one ending 19996 and the other 19997. How could they be 'golden"?

    The last reason is absurd as I never asked for a "golden" number. How long will Airtel persists in this underhand method to retain an intensely dissatisfied customer?

    Can someone in AIrtel Maharashtra please take action on this?

    Lightbulb mobile number portibility

    MY NAME IS DEVENDRA PATEL i have submitted request to port from IDEA (Mo.Nub: 9826990074) to AIRTEL on 27th NOVEMBER 2011 my upc code is IY782664, but i found a sms from 1901 that your upc code is wrong.
    so i requast you to pls do somthing..........
