    Angry Airtel Prepaid Connection

    Dear Sir,

    This with reference to my prepaid connection 9987392535 having sim number 8991920000164738279. I had purchased this card from Kamdar Telecommunication, Yusuf Bldg,Shop No.4, V. N. Road,Akbar Ali Shop Lane,Next To Music World Shop,Fort, Mumbai 400001. I dully completed the all the required documents required by the Airtel. I had purchased this on 21/06/2009. at 10:48:20 Am. It got activated on 22/06/2009 at 11:47:32 Am after my second visit to the gallery. I got an SMS on 13/07/2009 stating that I need to Re-Verify my prepaid number. I called up Airtel Customer Care asking Mr. Chetan to give detils of Airtel Gallery and requirement of Re-Verification of the documents. He categorly said "Re-verification is not required the SMSes sent is for Government employees please ignore the SMS and rest everything is assured your connection would not be effected". Today i.e. 21/07/2009 I called upon my number but I got error "The Number is temporally disconnected" But I am able to make outgoing calls. Then I called Airtel Customer Care Mr. Sameer categorly told me "Please Re-Verify and re-send the required documents" After this I sent the required document to Kamdar Telecommunication, Yusuf Bldg,Shop No.4, V. N. Road,Akbar Ali Shop Lane,Next To Music World Shop,Fort, Mumbai 400001. for verification of documents but they rudely behaived with my person and said "The number does not belong to Saurabh Agarwal it belongs to Mrs Mohmaed and hence verification cannot be done" I called up customer care regarding this issue. This time Mr. Shabbir said "Your all your issues would be solved in 24 hours" after listening to my problem and SMS regarding the same would be sent. But so far I have recived no sms or any response. Please look into this matter on urgent basis and resolve the issue as soon as posible

    Default Unable to rech you for tele verification

    This with reference to my prepaid connection 9980157363 having sim number. I dully completed the all the required documents required by the Airtel. I had purchased this on 21/06/2009. at 10:48:20 Am. It got activated on 18/01/2010.I got an SMS on 22/01/2010 stating that I need to Re-Verify my prepaid number. I called up Airtel Customer Care He said "Re-verification. After 7 days of chassing it has been reactivated at 29/01/2010 but today i.e. 5/02/2010 I got sms again " We have been unable to reach you for televerification of your mobile number. Your first outgoing call will reach our televerification helpdesk, kindly extend your support & confirm your name and address to our executive to enjoy continued service."
    But I haven't reached any helpdesk on outgoing call so please guide me how to contact executive and why he is not able to reach at given address. Please do something I don't want intruption in calls.

    Angry Problem in activation of my SIM

    I am very disappointed with Kamdar Airtel Agency which is at Fort, Mumbai. I have taken a New Perpaid connection on 31/3/10 in the morning and was assured that the SIM will get activated in Four hours. But after four hours it did not got activated. On calling customer service, it says that the Agency had not forwarded the request. I had visited gallery again at night on 31/3 and requested again, and again I was promised that in 10 minutes it will be getting activated.

    But still the SIM is not activated as on 1/4/10 1.00 PM. My mobile no alloted to me is 9004245756. SIM no. 8991921001021049826.

    Please note that I had also came accross 2 more similar cases of my office collegues, who had taken new connections in between last 2 months. It is also a matter of concern that if we take connection from outsider shop or mobile shop they get the connection activated in one hour and they provide SIM card for Free, where as the Airtel Gallery charges us Rs.49/- for SIM. And on asking the Airtel Gallery guys they answer that we don't know.

    Angry Airtel prepaid connection

    Dear Sir,

    I bought new airtel prepaid SIM got it activated with address verification then my outgoing and incoming call were barred without any prior notice. I contacted dealer and got my no. reactivated NOW my outgoing and incoming are again barred. On contacting customer care I am told that my no is working fine but I am not able to make or receive any call.

    I have an Airtel postpaid connection i want to close it kindly let me know the formalities to done. I had purchased the sim from Ahmedabad but know I am transferred to Kochi and now I do not require this number.

    Default Problem in sending SMSes

    I bought a new Airtel prepaid connection (9560154451) for which I provided all my documents and whatever I was asked to get it activated.
    I have been getting a strange problem with SMS for quite some time now. It started with my messages getting stuck in outbox, it took about 4 to 5 tries to successfully send a message. But now the problem has worsened. Most of the SMS give me "Message Delivery Failed" message. When i try to look at the message details it says something like "No message support for your network".
    Its very frustrating to keep trying again and again and get no result. I thought it was a temporary problem with network but this thing is getting worse day by day. The only reason I switched to Airtel was because of its unmatched service. This is what I heard from many people but sadly my experience with Airtel is not going well till now. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.
