Hi,
Currently I would like to file a case against samsung with consumer forum if my problem is not resolved ASAP based on the following details.
I have purchased a Samsung Refrigirator with Model number RA20WVPS.
It's been an year since I bought this fridge.
The exact date of purchase is 7th of June 2008.
Just after some 4-5 months of purchase the refrigirator stopped cooling.
I contacted the customer care and a Samsung person had come to check the issue and he had refilled the gas.
Now again after an exact period of 5 months, the same issue has again come.
And now, since the warranty period is done, the company wants me to pay for the refillment of the gas.
But then, when we spoke to the Customer care person, we understood that there is no one who could assure us in written that the same issue shall not crop up again after a certain period of this service.
Should I be paying this way for any technical or functional or whatsoever defects of the company's manufactured good?
Is this not a way of doing smart business? Is the comapny not cheating the customers in a way and is it not expecting the customers to keep them paying through out the life of the product?
Who is answerable for these acts?
After getting lot of trouble and frustration I am sending this email to you for the required help.
