Please find mentioned below the detailed description of my problem:

1. I applied for this connection in Lucknow on 20th Nov’08 and opted for 449/- fixed
monthly rental plan with a landline connection which had 50/- local calls free every
month. The local reliance BB unit confirmed that it would take 5 working days to
install the connection. But it didn’t happen and we kept on following up with them
till 3rd Dec’08. Finally, the BB connection was up on 4th Dec’08 but without
landline connection. As per local unit, landline connection could be provided in 2
days time. I really had a nightmare in pulling off this connection and it appeared
to me as if I am serving Reliance Company.

2. There wasn't any post sales service and no engineer ever visited my place to
check on whether BB was running fine. Infact, the pending landline connection had no
follow ups by local unit.

3. I stopped using reliance BB services on 17th Dec'08 due to two reasons: a) The
service was awfully bad and response from the local unit was non-existent b) I had
to go back to Delhi due to some urgent requirements at my workplace. I requested the
local unit to discontinue the connection through phone and in person in the last
week of Dec'08.

4. Nobody came to my place to look into my problem and stop the BB services. On
10th of Jan'09, an executive from reliance BB came to my place to give us the bill
for the first month. The bill was generated from 4th - 22nd of dec'08. The bill
amount was 851.76/- and we already paid 500 as an installation fee. But since the
landline connection was never installed and we could not avail 50/- free local
facility in Dec'08, so we deducted 50/- and paid balance 300/- cash to that
executive. Also requested him to discontinue the services with immediate effect.

5. Noone ever turned back to us and we got another e-bill generated in Jan'09. I
e-mailed back to them that we have done our due diligence in informing them about
disconnecting the bb services.

6. We got no response till end of Feb ’09 and got another bill generated to our
name. We got in touch with the local unit and asked them to immediately disconnect
the services. On that day, we got the customer care no: 30337777 and were told that
inorder to discontinue the services, we have to call at this no and do the needful.
Irony is that for past three months, we were never informed about this process and
at the time of connection, we were never given a detailed copy of plan we opted for
and what to do to discontinue the services. I called at this no. on 2nd of March.
But the executive was adamant of the fact that I need to all the pending bills to
effect the termination of my services.

7. I got another bill generated in March'09. Then I wrote to broadband@relianceada.com
30th of March to again brief them on the entire problem and resolve the matter at
the earliest. I got the same reply that I first need to clear the pending dues to
terminate the services.

To sum up the issue, from the day of getting reliance BB till my last communication
with them, I was literally harrassed. I have not used the BB since 18th Dec till end
of March'09 but they still kept on generating bills to my credit. I have always did
due diligence at my end but was never informed by the reliance BB about the right
process.

Two days back, Reliance communication has sent me a legal notice of recovery of
pending dues .
