I am holding a netconnect broadband+ account no.: 9339523415
I was on a 10GB plan. as I thought i would exceed by 10 GB limit i called up customer care and asked do you have an add on option..to which i was suggested that I can get a 10 GB night add on plan and my total bill would be Rs. 1298
I was also informed that for the new 10GB night plan I would only get the applicable usage on pro rata basis...but was never informed that the plan I already am having(10 gb city wide) will be terminated and a new plan would be set in....no information...no warning.....I had even asked the guy what my current usage was and he told me its some 4GB...
if i had known i would be paying some extra 7K for this would i not have bought a new connection......
Now when I get my bill I am told your previous plan of 10Gb got terminated on 29th june and as you had used more than the pro rata at that time you will be charged some INR 6700 for it....Now what the heck is this
1. If i my earlier plan was terminated why was I not informed by the customer care agent.
2. The 10 GB night plan appeared as an add on pack till june now there is no such plan so you guys start cheating customers by telling them they had changed plan
3. as far as my bill is concerned by peak time usage is around 9.7 GB(for the period 25th june to 25 july) and off peak usage is 7.5 so it should be considered within limits.
4. If you are changing rules, like turning add on packages to package change , are you not supposed to inform the customer.
5. On one single bill without informing the customer how can you charge two separate charges on two pro rata basis.
6. you guys must be out of your minds to think i would be paying 8000 rs for using 9.7 GB(peak) and 7.5GB(off peak) during the month when my total allowed usage is 20GB.
7. even my credit limit is set at rs. 2000...so how can they send me a bill of rs 8000 without informing or warning
