    Default Airtel Post Paid Complaint - Refund of Amount

    Dear Sir,

    This is with respect to the unnecessary amount that has been auto-debited from my account after closing my airtel postpaid connection. I raised a connection closure request on Dec-19-2008 as I was moving out of the country. To close the connection it has taken around 3 months. Apart from it airtel used to debit the minimum charge from my account.
    Finally after a lot of emails and phones to airtel customer care, I was able to close my connection. How ever the extra amount was not refunded back. They sent the refund cheque to my postal address in bangalore when I had clearly mentioned them that I will be moving out of the country.


    In further communication, they requested to give my local frineds address so that they will be posting the cheque to him directly but this has happened around a couple of months back.

    Apart from it they debited Rs: 60.18/- from my account in the last month. So, I had come to a conclusion that this should be escalated to a higher level and am writing this mail to you with immense level of frustration.

    I had spent thousands of rupees to make ISD calls and speak to the customer care.



    Please resolve this issue as early as possible

    Default Airtel Customer care behaviour is very bad

    Hi,
    I was fan of Airtel Postpaid service in Bangalore as I am using two airtel psot paid connection in Bangalore.In this diwali I went to my home town & dissconnected our old BSNL Landline phone & purchase Airtel Phone on my name with permanent address in Durg with valid document Driving License.Date purchase before diwali (14th Oct) connection works fine as usual & after 5 day Airtel exective has visited my house in durg & verified the address & told me once you get call from airtel tell them I have verifed so I will get point.I have not received any call for 5 days & suddenly i got message in my mobile(9685045644) your address verification is not done & your outgoing call will be barred.I have immediately call airtel executive from Durg & inform about the same & she told me (forget executive name) there is no problem in your number & address verification every thing is fine. Befre coming to Bangalore I have paid Advance payment of 400 rs to airtel(23-10-2009). I reach bangalore on 26 Oct.On 27 OCt My father has observed that he is not able to perform outgoing call from durg number (9685045644).My father can not talk with aritel customer care beucase he don't know much functionaly of phone so I have connected that call from Bangalore to Durg then to customer care 121 (that goes to Indore office) I have told them abt condition but they told me you need to come down to Durg.I told ios it that much necessary to come from Bangalore to Durg 1400 km just for small thing that to customer which is already having 3 connection from last 3 year in his name.But they were very much reluctant to provide me facility & told we can not start outgoing call & if you want tou can cancel the connection That was very much surprising & embrassing for me. Then I have call custome care from my Bangalore number 9902332332 to 121 & ask from help as Bangalore customer care are very muvh helping in nature they told we can'nt fetch info abt your Durg Number & given me alternate number of customer care (STD Number09893012345) I have called them again & told about the same But another executive (Mr Bhandari) told me to come down to durg via flight for another verification I told them it is not possible to come down for just a small work.He strictly told me we wil not provide you outgoing facility in Durg phone & cancel your connection. I told him to cnnect his Manager he has connected to his manager Mr Lokesh Kaushik He is the fellow who told we can not solve this problem as oyu are in Bangalore I tld him I am very old customer of Airtel I Have corroprate connection froj airtel for 3 phone But that Mangare has not helping me continously tellimg me yuo need to come down to Bangalore.I told him to transfer this phone from my name to my father name for that thing also he is saying you need to come down to Durg

    I have some question to Airtel
    1)Is it a way to talk with customer & create unnecessary problem with those customer which is already having thre old connection with airtel
    2)Is it compulsary to come down to Durg from Bangalore for just verification that already been done (1400 km from Bangalore)
    3)Tranfer of phone can e done by just writting a letter & faxing them to airtel office that thing also oyur airtel manager is not able to perform
    4)why there is dual behaviour from Bangalore customer care & chhattisgarh customer care Bangalore center is very helping in nature But chhattigarh customer care is just avoiding the problem & not willing to solve the customer problem.
    I am very much disspointed My airtel home twon number is still not having outgoing facility even though i have paid Advance payment 400 at present it ihaving 600 rs Advance money in that phone account

    Please help me on this problem

    Default Request for part Payment

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    This is the request regarding my Mobile number - 9910209194. As I have been not in Job for last four months and my Airtel postpaid bill is Rs. 4216.00. As I have requested Customer Care please provide me part payment so the mobile bill will be cleared but they refuse the request.

    I want to pay the said amount but I am unable to deposit the money due to unavailable of job.

    You are requested kindly consider the part payment in four months (1000+1000+1000+1216), it make me help to pay the whole amount. Sir / Madam, Please consider it. Its my humble request.

    Default Regarding late fee & excess amount debbited

    Dear sir,

    herewith i have informed u that in last month i had paid my bill on correct time , only balance amount 335 rupees i had not paid. but as soon as ur msg was received i paid remaining 335 rupees. u also debited this amount in this bill (see Bill no. 121685934)
    so plese do the correction.

    Default Complaint regarding fake call from a customer of Airtel, Assam

    Sir
    I am a resident of Guwahati, Assam and using a Vodafone Prepaid service. I am getting a call from a number +919954143901 asking for a person. I have told that person that you are calling the wrong number and advised that person to check his number. But he is questioning me only and even if I cut the phone, he is constantly disturbing me. Please look into the matter as this is making me sick.

    I have got the last calls from him on 12 th dec, 2009 at 7.24 pm,7.23pm,7.22pm and 7.21pm

    Thumbs down wrong charges.urgent

    Hello Sir/Mam

    Actually i am an estimmed customer or airtel mobile for many years.i have a pospaid no 09975619714 in Maharashtra circle.This mail is reagrding the wrong charges applied in my september oct bill in 2009.i have been fighting for refund of Rs 800 for around one year.
    plz help me out with this problem.

    Default no Refund of security money

    i convert my airtel postpaid "9561007137" (pune circle) to prepaid and even after continue assurances of modal officer i still did not received my secuity money of 300.

    Default postpaid connection refund

    Dear Customer Care,
    Refer:-
    Mobile # 9894116725
    Acc ID. 114-100070177
    Cheque No - 469103 dated 12/26/2003.
    HDFC Bank Ltd, 1635 Trichy Road, Coimbatore - 641018 A/C No 0310110000039
    Amount - Rs 535.72
    It is an old case and the refund cheque reached me very late as I had changed my address a couple of times since..
    I had returned the cheque in Oct 2005 to Bharti Centre, 1168 Avinashi Road, PN Palayam, Coimbatore - 641037.
    No reply has been received since then.
    Bharti Cellular Ltd still owes me my refund of Rs 535.72
    My Present address D 9/2, Salunke Vihar, Kondhwa, Pune - 411022.
    Hoping that my request for refund will be honoured by your company... Though a case of the past.
