I would like to bring to consumer courts notice about the mismanagement
and trouble given to me by Bharti Airtel.
I have been giving many complaints to Airtel from past 4 months and none
of the complaints are resolved.
My mobile number registered with Airtel was under a different plan and
later i changed the same to CUG-199 plan.
I get different information from Airtel about my credit limit and
because of this every time my outgoing calls will be barred.
Whenever i call Airtel to resolve the issue, i am not getting proper
response from Airtel.
Few of the complaint numbers and the executive name are listed as below:
1. 526483701 - Shabab
2. 527242347 - Nagesh
The last interaction i had was with Mr. Raghavendra who is the floor
manager in Airetl and i was promised that my complaints will be resolved
in 24 hours and the same has not happened.
I am unable to see my bills and also unable to pay the same because of
the problems from Airtel and because of this always my outgoing calls
would be barred.
I am using this connection from past 4-5 years and also this is a
corporate connection and i have always paid my bills on time.
Because of this problems i am taking this step to put a serious
complaint in consumer court against Bharti Airtel.
I request Consumer Court to please take a necessary action in this
matter and help/guide me to resolve this problem.

For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officer.

I want to bring this issue in your notice that I am keep getting messages from 64611099.
The msgs say that
"Thanks for downloading Java games from Airtel Live WAP service. You've been charged Rs. 99 Enjoy gclub dot in
I have got this msg twice on 18th night and they deducted 198 Rs from my account. This is completely rubbish since I dint download any such game nor visited any such game website, even then I am getting such msgs. I talked to customer service but no satisfactory reply from that side. This is disgusting and irritating that few days back also I received few msgs saying that you have been charged for downloading ring tones, wallpaper etc..
I am surprised Airtel which is supposed to be a well reputed mobile service provider allows such nonsense stuff.
I am sorry to say that Airtel is more interested in publicity and increasing users from a totally commercial angle and sees only its benefit than being genuinely interested in helping its customers. I am deeply frustated that Airtel has unnecessarily intruded my mobile inbox and wasted my time and peace.
I am going to consumer court to settle the things if necessary actions has not been taken soon.
This issue is not isolated to me I found plenty of such complaints on complaints board on the net and for your kind information I am providing you the link.

Yesterday night after 11 O'clock, i started receiving such sms. Within 10 min, i received 7 sms saying "You have been charged Rs. 99, Rs. 50, Rs 30 etc for downloading various stuffs which i never even heard off.
I filed a complaint with Airtel Customer Care and I am not going to pay even a penny for those things. In a way I am lucky that I have a post paid connection!
Crap Airtel

I have been using AirTel post paid connection for the past 2 years, recently I've got a new AirTel connection with the same address, I've given all proofs too...
After few days an executive called me at 8 AM and he told I will come today 10 am for the Address verification. I said, I will be not in home at 10 am kindly come at evening. He replied me, No problem I will meet someone from your home...
He came and collected the form and verification formalities from my mom...
But,
Now the connection has not in use.
I have contacted AirTel customer care and told about the inactivity. Their telling I cant use that number again. They were temporarily disabled that number because of Negative Address Verification.
My 1st number also taken by the same address, but they are telling 1st number address is positive 2nd number address is negative. AMAZING... same address have different ratings.
Kindly guide me to take some action against AirTel or get the number again...

sir iam using airtel prepaid sim connection no 9995614463. Iam using Airtel GPRS service (Mobile Office) for the last 2 years,from starting itself the speed was very low but managable, but now it was very poor that i can not load pages, connection fails, very low speed and download not possible. i am recharging for 474 per every month, and i am getting 1 to 3 kbps speed its not able to load page and download not possible then whats use of spending this much amount of money for this network, and when trying to call custmur care they are not taking calls for the last 1month, what is this???/ please check the connection to this number , dont cheat customers......
I have given all the documents and INR 500 for my postpaid connection of Airtel. Mob No 9650765533. Six days have passed the sim has not yet been activated.
This is seen as in-efficiency in my part in the organization i m working.
I am truely upset with Airtel. I wont recommend anyone.

O R D E R
T.N. VAIDYA, PRESIDENT:
1. Complainant obtained mobile telephone connection bearing no. 98159-00013 from the service provider-OP. His case is that after subscribing with the opposite party qua this mobile connection since 24.6.2003, has been using it regularly. He has paid all the consumption bills of this phone regularly, without fault and last bill received from the opposite party qua this mobile phone was paid on 22.1.2009. There were no arrears. Despite it, opposite party disconnected his phone without notice. Consequently prayed for restoration of his mobile phone connection and also sought compensation of Rs. 55,000/- due to harassment suffered by him at the hands of the opposite party. Hence, the present complaint under section 12 of the Consumer Protection act, 1986.
2. Opposite party despite taking various adjournments failed to file reply to the complaint and as such their defence was struck off.
3. Complainant has adduced his evidence by way of affidavit and documents. We have heard the ld. counsel for the complainant, gone through file, scanned the documents and other material on record.
4. In support of his claim, complainant has filed his affidavit annexure A and receipt annexure-1. Vide that receipt annexure -1, deposited Rs.650 with the opposite party on 22.1.2009. This payment was made of bill dated 12.1.2009 raised by the opposite party, qua mobile connection of the complainant for Rs.646.78. This amount of Rs.646.78p was payable if deposited before 30.1.2009 and thereafter demanded amount was of Rs.721.78p. So, it means that nothing against mobile connection of the complainant was due. Despite it, they disconnected the same.
5. By disconnecting the mobile phone connection of the complainant and withholding incoming and outgoing calls on his phone, they certainly would be guilty of misconduct on account of resorting to unfair trade practice. Resultantly, we allow this complaint and consequently, direct opposite party to restore mobile phone connection no. 98159-00013 of the complainant and also pay him compensation of Rs.10,000/-(Rs. Ten Thousands only) for causing harassment and litigation cost of Rs.2000/-(Rs. Two Thousands only). Compliance of the order be made within 30 days of the receipt of copy of the order, which be made available to the parties free of costs. File be completed and consigned to record.

i residing in Pune and i don't speak Hindi, i called the customer care and was responded in hindi, when i asked if i could get someone who speak english, he just talked really fast in Hindi and droped the phone, i tried about 20 times and still same problem, finally i got and english speaker but he said he said that there was problem in my network he couldn't hear me, and droped the phone about 10 seconds after picking it up... it felt kinda frustrating and funny because even the customer care guy is complaining about the Airtel network,... why can't they just get some one who can transfer the call to an english speaker where he hears the customer say the word "ENGLISH", not that hard of a word to remember.... no wonder aircell is taking over....
