    Unhappy My airtel number 9998355272 deactivated(deleted) without any prior notice

    Hello, Sir

    My Aitel Mobile Number is: 9998355272

    I am writing you today to complain about my prepaid sim-card which is giving me error "Sim-card registration failed" since March 4 2011. Now, I am on international roaming in the UK so I don't know what to do? The number is really important to me as I have registered that number with my national and international business customer for four years so I don't want to loose that number in any circumstances. It is my only contact number and if I can't get this number It will be severe business loss. If there is any penalties or any kind of payment have to be paid to start my Sim I am ready to pay that but I need my number back. I hope you will understand my problem.

    Well, I recently had conversation about this matter by calling airtel customer care on 9898098980 but they did not bother to respond on my query. Then I called my friend who works in airtel office he advised me to send you an e-mail on 121@in.airtel.com regarding this matter. He also admitted that, they had same problem with one of your customer lately and he got solution by e-mailing you. But there was no response from them.

    In addition, I have regularly been recharging my prepaid sim card using online banking.

    I want update on my query. I have had call from airtel department on 18 march telling me that he will be working on my case. He also told me that I will get updated by email or phone but I have not heard anything from them. Can you please help me reactivate my number.

    Hello,

    I had call from airtel officer Manoj today telling me he has chased down my number. I have been told that I need to get replacement sim card to have my blocked number back. He was confused how he is going to give me that sim while I am in the London. He said, he will call me back in few minutes after discussing with his supervisor that if either he can reactivate my old simcard or I have to get new replacement simcard.

    I have waited a lot for his call for the whole day but he did not contacted me even though he said, he will contact me..

    I am still waiting to get my number back madly.

    Default Regarding activation of +91-9818199950 number and deactivation without prior notice

    Dear Sir,

    I am writing you today to complain about my prepaid sim-card which is giving me error "Sim-card registration failed" since April 3rd 2011. When I try to call on the number it says "This number is not reachable".have been using +91-9818199950 for almost 5-6 years. I recently went abroad for a couple of months and when I came back my number had been deactivated.

    The number is really important to me as I have registered that number with my national and international business customer,friends,co-workers,educational institutions so I don't want to loose that number in any circumstances.

    It is my only contact number and if I can't get this number It will be a great loss. If there is any penalties or any kind of payment have to be paid to start my Sim I am ready to pay that but I need my number back. I hope you will understand my problem.

    I even had lifetime validity on my number and Airtel did not bother to inform me by sending me a notice to inform me of deactivation. It is causing me inconvenience and I also feel harassed for the same.

    Kindly help me in obtaining my number back. My alternate contact number has been emailed to you on 121@in.airtel.com and airtelpresence@airtel.in.

    Hope to receive a positive response.

    Dear mr. Ranga,

    The issue has not been resolved and the lady who called me said she will look into having my reactivated. Since, then(April 20th,2011) I haven't heard from you at all.
