    Default Unpofessional attitude of Airtel Customer Care

    know what you guys are up to at Airtel. You guys are just trying to cheat your
    customers and you have proved me write once again.



    I wrote
    the below mail to you 16th May for an un-necessary charge made on my
    number by your company for downloading the content which I had not downloaded.



    Today
    again the same thing has happened and I think I will have to take a strict action
    this time.



    I have
    received a message at 1017 Hrs today from the number 64611015 stating “
    Thank you for downloading Animation from Airtel Live WAP service. You’ve
    been charged Rs. 15. Enjoy wap.mobilfun.in”. Again I haven’t
    accessed or downloaded any content from your stupid website and still this
    message has been received and my account has been charged.



    This
    being the second instance in the past 15 days I am sure this is a ploy of
    Airtel group to mint money from the customer when the times are not good
    financially.



    I
    thought the customers came for your company but due to these repeated instances
    I think it only MONEY, MONEY and MONEY that your company is looking at.



    Airtel group has again violated the norms set by TRAI, for activating
    or charging a customer for a service not requested for and without an authorization
    from the customer.



    I am copying the office of TRAI as well as Consumer court on this
    mail, so that an immediate action could be taken against Airtel group for
    harassing & cheating their customers.



    I have lost my patience and peace of mind by dealing with your group
    and I would neither like to use your services in future and nor would recommend
    it to anyone.

    I
    have been forced to write this mail to you, due to the unprofessional attitude
    shown by the Airtel group towards its customers. I am appalled at your
    group’s approach towards your customers and it seems that your company
    gives more priority to money then to your customers.



    I
    received a message this morning at 0544 hrs from a number 64611030 stating “Thank
    you for using Value Pack Service on Airtel WAP. You’ve been charged Rs.
    30.
    This came up as a surprise to me because I haven’t accessed any
    airtel site and haven’t requested for a download and moreover I was
    sleeping at that point of time and there was no access done through mobile
    requesting for this download.



    I
    gave a call to your customer care number, which anyways is a torture for any
    customer because this number is hardly reachable and if you do reach the
    customer care executive your are transferred or ask to call different number
    which is very frustrating for any customer.



    Anyhow,
    I managed to speak to one of you customer care executive Karan who
    confirmed me that the charges were made to my number as I had downloaded some
    stupid package called “Airtel Nazaare” He told me that I had
    requested this download at 5 in the morning(the time I was fast asleep, I guess
    some ghost was accessing my mobile to download this stupid content of yours).
    He told me that charges have been made and now nothing can be done. On my
    request to speak to someone senior my call was transferred to Ravya(the
    so called supervisor) and she also informed me the same thing that these are
    non refundable charges. Even on clarifying that I did not request for this
    download she was of least assistance and was not ready to listen to me. I
    requested her to transfer my call to manager and she insisted that no one will
    be able to assist me in this matter. On insisting she transferred my call to Narender,
    who told me he was the manager and I really doubt if he was… This guy
    was extremely rude and told me that whatever I wanted to do I was free to do
    but these charges had been made and he cannot assist me.



    What
    is that your team is trying to prove and give an impression of? Highly
    unprofessional….



    It
    is really shocking to me that charges are being made to customer like me, for a
    service which has not even been requested by me. I think in this time of
    economic crisis this is a strategy of Bharti Airtel group to earn some money by
    robbing their customers.



    According
    to TRAI act & regulation no service provider can charge a customer without
    their consent and authorization and I do not think this is the case with the
    Bharti Airtel group and you guys work on your own terms.



    The
    services of Airtel has been deteriorating day by day with no connectivity, very
    low signal and a customer support which is not of any help. I am regret my
    decision to have used Airtel for so many years…

    My
    ordeal does not end here. I would appreciate a written clarification from you
    regarding this matter within the next 24 hrs in order to avoid any further
    action from my side. The next copy of my mail will be to the following:

    Angry network problem

    sir,
    I have complain many times for my Airtel number +919695162544 in airtel call centre but my problem of network would not solved.and now i call them they disconnected my call so please solve my network problem in my area.my hometown is in unnao uttar pradesh.

    Thumbs down Airtel Prepaid Connection

    Hello Sir/Madam,
    I got a new prepaid connection (SIM, Airtel) number: 8527226987, from global Cell Com shop in Shopprix mall Sector 61 Noida. I had got it recharged with Rs 333 , it was working fine but after 14-15 days it was blocked. When i went to the shop they were really very rude and told me that they cannot do anything, then i called up the nodal office delhi, they told me that my form was incomplete and i do need to resubmit the form and documents, i again submitted the form and documents, but after 3 days still the same condition , SIM was not working instead it was unregistered. I called up the nodal office again around 5-6 times but of no help , they conveyed me that they would call me and update me but nothing was done. I am really shocked at such poor response of Airtel , its playing with the peoples money and customer service is very poor.


    I am copying the office of TRAI as well as Consumer court on this
    mail, so that an immediate action could be taken against Airtel group for
    harassing and cheating their customers.

    Thumbs down unethical recovery and breach of confidentiality by misuse of customer call data

    Customer care is avoiding the situation by not responding to main concern and holding friends money as mortgage which is illegal. Customers call data should not be misused and friends or other contacts should not be used to recover bills as they are not part of customer-airtel relationship.
    Hope this gets addressed here...

    Hi,

    I would like to raise a complaint for irresponsible handling of the bill
    recovery by troubling my friends.


    I had raised request for terminating my number sometime back and received the
    final settlement bill. I had asked my brother to pay it and he had paid it
    yesterday 22dec2010.
    Still my friends received call today 23dec from airtel executive "Sakshi"-
    9665099413 and sum of 1000/- Rs was taken from friend. This is certainly not
    acceptable as friends and other contacts should not be used from call logs to
    recover money. If there is an issue my family member should be contacted or me
    over over phone or this email at least which is registered with Airtel.

    When my friend asked for the money to be returned she was told, it will be
    returned to her when the bill is updated in system. Airtel cannot hold my
    friends money as mortgage for bill recovery and this is like blackmail and very
    much illegal.


    I would like to raise this complaint and would like to escalate this behavior.
    Please return the money of my friends asap. This is the receipt number that was
    given to her : 90661.

    If there is any bill dispute we should communicate and resolve it and friends
    should not be involved.
