Dear Sir,
On 30th March I approached Vodafone Customer Care (111) for activation of
Blackberry services on my above said mobile no and insisted to activate
plan 299. They gave code ACT BBPL and asked to send SMS to activate the
service. I sent SMS as suggested by the customer care person. However when
I received my bill dt. 11/4/09, it was a real shock for me to notice that
Vodafone had activated plan 899.
I paid Rs. 1100/- through my credit card before the due date calculating the
bill amount using 299 plan. But in spite of paying the amount my line was
disconnected without any intimation to me being the customer. When I
contacted the customer care regarding this they asked me send the same
message once again and they apologized for the inconvenience caused to me (I
spoke to Mr. sameer, Mr. Chandan and Mr. Gurcharan) and they eventually
activated my phone and assured me that they will reverse the plan as per my
desire. Next day to my utter surprise the outgoing calls were debarred and
when I contacted them for the reason they are beating round the bush and are
rather insisting to pay Rs.899/- and that they will adjust the same in the
subsequent bill. I am not prepared to pay Rs.899/- for no fault of mine.
I wish to get a quick reply from your end. This has to be addressed quickly
and this phone of mine has been given to my sick parents who if wanted to
make a call which has been debarred will only add more agony. The issue may
please be given due respect.
