I have been using Uninor prepaid 9172494940 . I took UPC on 7 Feb'11 and applied for porting to MTNL on 7 Feb'11. I got msg from MTNL saying that my number will be ported to MTNL on 12 Feb'11 and after 13 Feb'11 to till today my Uninor sim is deactivated. MTNL sim is also still inactive. Despite of many complaints lodged with MTNL the sim is still inactive till date(16th Feb). I got a call from MTNL saying tomorow 16 is there holiday and they will be looking on Thursday. Today(16 th Feb) and i dont know how many days MTNL will take to active my sim. Please do the needful asap. I heard that the number will be deactive for 2 hrs but my number is deactive from 4 days. Please do the needful asap.
