    Exclamation RELIANCE GSM-HARRASSING CUSTOMERS with money deductions for unwanted services !

    Name - Kiran, Bangalore
    Mobile No. - 8088505079
    Service Provider - Reliance GSM Prepaid
    COMPLAINT NO.-2145938065
    Helpline called - 198

    On the 22nd of Jan. 2011 - Rs. 30 has been deducted out of my prepaid balance for A SERVICE THAT I HAVE NOT ASKED FOR. I called the customer care at 12.15 in the night of 23 Jan. and was told that Rs. 30 has been deducted for some "Beauty Tips Service" and he agreed that this is wrongly deducted and a total sum of Rs.40 will be credited to my a/c (it also included some another service for which Rs. 10 was deducted from my balance this too without my knowledge) He assured me that it will be refunded into my account within 24 hours.
    However even after 4 days time, there was only about Rs.10 refunded into my account. (it think it was refunded - cos it said 'promo talktime') And I have kept tab of the calls I have made from this promo talktime and they do not a/c to more than Rs. 10-hence the assumption.

    I HAVE RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO SMS SAYING THAT THIS AMOUNT OF RS. 40 WAS BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY A/C EITHER !!

    I AGAIN called customer care at 198 on 27 Jan. - BUT NOW THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GUY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS I WHO HAD APPLIED FOR THE SERVICE AND THERE IS NO WAY THAT THE MONEY CAN BE REFUNDED !! (WHEREAS - I HAVE NOT EVEN REQUESTED FOR ANY SERVICE AT ALL !!)

    HE WAS RUDE, UNHELPFUL AND FINALLY ASKED ME TO HOLD THE LINE SAYING THAT HE WILL GET BACK, AND EVEN AFTER 15 MINUTES OF HOLDING THE LINE - HE DID NOT COME BACK ON LINE !!

    I called back 198 again and this time spoke to another person - he too was JUST AS RUDE AND REFUSED TO EVEN UNDERSTAND THE CASE !! HE CUT THE LINE MID WAY MY SENTENCE SAYING THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT !!

    IN ADDITION I HAVE ALSO SPENT A GOOD 45 MINUTES ON THESE 2 CALLS ON JAN.27 - AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH 198 !!!

    THIS IS NO LESS THAN A HARASSMENT OF YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!

    IN THIS PREMISES, I SHALL LIKE THE COMPANY TO REFUND THE ABOVE AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY TO MY A/C

    Note - Same was the case with my father too - who had a Reliance GSM prepaid service - inspite of constant reminders - Rs.60 has been continually been deducted from his balance, now frustrated with Reliance GSM - he has shifted to another service provider ! I too have similar thoughts now after my above experience with you

    hi sir
    maine kuch din pehle aapke consumercourt me wap setting ke liye complain kiya tha aur mere paas Reliance costmer care se b call aaya tha aur fir kaha gaya tha ke aapko 30 minut baad wap setting bhej diya jayega aur mujhe wap setting abhi bhi nahi mil paya hai
    Mai lagbhag 3 month se wap setting mangane ka prayas kar raha hu aur mujhe abhi bhi wap setting nahi mil pa raha hai
    aur 198 me call karne par yahi kaha jata hai aapko bhej diya jayega maine kai bar unko apne mobile ka imei no bhi bata diya hai fir bhi nahi aa pata hai
    aur
    WAP likh kar 55100 per sms karne par reple msg aata hai
    your handset not database
    aur Reliance ka network to hamesa busy rehta hai costmer care lagane par

    Default Reliance adopting unethical practices..

    Respected Sir/Ma'am,I did recharge Rs 294 on 30-08-201 on 7676882121, and certain information was provided wrongly by the customer care executives regarding the amount.I wanted to recharge rlnc-rlnc local unlimited free and the executives gave me the information to recharge Rs 294 instead of Rs 299 and even lost more than Rs 100 due to this problem.I did contact several executives and reported them about the problem but no action has been taken so far.The executives keep giving excuses that the problem will be solved with in 24 hrs or 48 hrs and this way now it has been more than 12 days but the problem is not resolved.It's very dis heartening to know the way your company treats its customers.I hope necessary actions will be taken and the problem will be resolved soon.

    I had activated Rs99 net pack on 2 oct that time my balance was nil. on 3 oct I recharge my mobile with Rs30 talktime & I use the internet , the balance is been cutted from main balance as already i had internet pack then also & again my balance was nil. then i called customer care to complain about the same. after that on the same day i thought i had complaint now they will not cut my balance therefore i recharge my mobile with Rs30 talktime but again they cut my main balance.& after that on 4 oct I called customer care for this problem , they replied that that your main balance is cutted for using GPRS ( internet ) i replied that i had already recharge with internet pack , they replaid you dont have any pack activated & they disconnect call by saying this.
    sir, i had recharge the internet pack then also they are cutting my main balance . sir please help me. please solve this problem as fast as possible .

    The reliance GSM Prepaid service has been the worst experience in my life because my prepaid balance is deducted almost everyday for the services which are never requested.When the customer care representatives at the CC no198 is tried to contact the calls are aborted or if, unluckily, the call is received it ends with false assurances of refunding the balance within 24-48 hours which never happens.Kindly look into the matter and refund my balance otherwise the only resort will be the Honble Courts.
