    Default Airtel sim not activating its service after mnp.



    Hello sir......
    Its bishwaranjan from odisha. I ve gone for MNP from vodafone to Airtel. on 4th of nov. and on 11th of nov. its the porting time replyed.
    its ok on 11th midnight my old vodafone no got unregistered and when i put the airtel sim in my handset it showed airtel logo. But when i put *123# to check the service and balance its gives me that " You are not a Prepaid subscriber" i ve tried much. nothing happened and incoming and outgoing calls are banned and it sounds to be that i ve temporarily out of service..wht this happens i cant understand...the most intersting thing is that when i called the airtel customer care they just replyed rudely and said that they ve 140million subscribers and i am worrying for my no...its will be active within sometime dont worry and wait....i think its just there EGO and they dont care for customers preferences...why this mnp and why all these things...damm it. plz anyone there if can solve this..or i hope the worst provider airtel i joined to use my luck..

    Post mobile number port from reliace to airtel

    Respected sir,
    my wife want to switch to airtel from reliance no.9346278855 got the RT561565 valid for 15 days on 4.11.11 and gone to airtel showroom and filled up the mnp application form and gave to them including photo and address proof and got the sim card. to process after that i will receive a confirmation msg,from reliance 0n 9.11.11. i waited for but nothing happend un til now. i went to airtel show room and asked whether they submitted my application form. They said that they have submitted my form but reliance didnt process it u better speak to reliance customer care.i know that they will not respond so i directly gone to reliance head office and asked about it. The representative told correct answer ann delayed deleprately.I want to complain to TRAI about reliance not implementing MNP properly and refusing customers not to change their network. PL HELP ME

    Hi

    We had submitted 3 MNP requests (Tata Docomo to Airtel) on 06.03.2012; out of which one (9860457305) was to port on 13.03.2012 (between 00:00 to 05:00) [as per an SMS from Airtel] but it did not happen. Instead Docomo disconnected this number from their network (as per the MNP request) & Airtel doesn't have it on their network (no idea, why), Both the sim cards say 'Invalid Sim'. Status as of 15.03.2012.

    You call customer care, their standard reply is 'Number is not showing up on the systems' but can't suggest or achieve any resolution. If you approach the executive, who did the paperwork for the MNP request, his standard reply: 'It will happen, just wait till this evenin/morning...etc'

    You can imagine the trouble we facing as the number is not working, Hope to see a quick resolution on this issue

    Default Reliance to airtel mnp not working

    I have ported from reliance to airtel and I got ported to airtel around 2.5.2012 2am. But I have no validity and balance in my phone when I tried to recharge for rs1 recharge failed(as they told). And I also tried easy recharge of rs50(for topup). But successful. I cant get any incoming calls and I cant make any calls. Only I can do is I can get incoming msg.
    I have complained a lot of time to customer care, till now i dont receive any response.

    my complaint reference no from airtel regarding this is PR050400014 .

    I need my number working as soon as possible so make necessary action on this.

    Default TATA SKY complaint

    I was offered a Tata SKY connection as a gift package on purchase of a Panasonic 42 inch TV. As this was the bas model I called up TATA Sky and asked them to upgrade the same to HD +. I made an online transaction of Rs 4815 and was told that the new set top box would be installed within 4 hrs. After three reminder calls the job was done after 50 hrs. The earlier set top box had an original sealed packing. The HD+ came in a tattered carton and the set top box appears to have been used, On close inspection the sticker saying 'Not for retail sale' is clearly mentioned. On enquiry I am being told that it is a new box. I have not been given a bill or a warranty card. I stay in Meghalaya. Shillong. I have registered a complaint with the company. My ID No: is 1082703289.
