    Default Complaint against airtel mobile services

    Summary of issues for which now I am going to consumer court since highest authority of escalation in Airtel also not able to resolve issues:

    1. 30TH DEC, 2010 SERVICES WAS BARRED WITHOUT CUSTOMER INFORMATION, SERVICES RESTORED AFTER ESCALATION ON 31ST DEC, 2010

    2. GPRS WAS DEACTIVATED on 30TH DEC, 20101 AND AGAIN CALLS MADE TO CUSTOMER CARE TO GET IT ACTIVATED, AIRTEL CHARGED TWICE FOR GPRS ON 31ST DEC, 2010

    3. ESCALATION WAS DONE TO NODAL OFFICE, CALL FROM NODAL OFFICE (6TH JAN 2011) COMMITTING THAT THE SAME WILL NOT REPEAT

    4. SECOND TIME CALLS WERE BARRED/ ACCOUNT DEACTIVATED AT 9 PM ON 6TH JAN 2011, WITHOUT INFORMING CUSTOMER, RESTORED ON ABOUT 3 PM ON 7TH JAN AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS AND ESCALATION

    5. GPRS AGAIN DEACTIVATED ON 6TH JAN, 2011 AND MULTIPLE CALLS , ESCALATION SORT THE ISSUE ON 11TH JAN, 2011 COMMITTING SAME WILL NOT REPEAT.

    6. ESCALATIONS TO APPELLATE OFFICE ONLY GOT APOLOGY AND REGRET NOTHING ELSE

    7. CALL FROM APPELLATE OFFICER HAMSA CAME ON 24TH JAN, 2011, CALL GOT DISCONNECTED IN BETWEEN AND OFFICER DID NOT CALLED BACK,

    8 GPRS AGAIN DEACTIVATED WITHOUT INFORMING CUSTOMER ON 24TH JAN, 2011, SPOKE TO CUSTOMER CARE FLOOR MANAGER BALA WHO INFORMED SAME WILL BE ACTIVATED IN FEW MINUTES, NOTHING HAPPENED TILL NOW, MORE THAN TWO HOURS ALREADY PASSED

    9. CALL MADE TO APPEILLATE OFFICE, THEY INFORMED THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR CAUSING TROUBLE TO CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE AND ALSO NOT READY TO PROVIDE ANY COMPENSATION OR COMMITMENT OF ACTION IF SAME REPEATS.

    10. AIRTEL CHARGES CUSTOMER MULTIPLE TIMES FOR GPRS EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT ACTIVE, TWICE ON 31ST DEC, 2010, ONCE ON BOTH 7TH AND 10TH JAN, 2011.

    THE GPRS IS STILL NOT ACTIVE AT THE MOMENT OF WRITING THIS EVEN THOUGH BOTH FLOOR MANAGER AND APPELLATE OFFICER SAID THEY WILL ACTIVATE THE SAME.

    Default Unauthorised ccharges /deduction from balance amount from prepaid account

    Dear Sir,

    There have been regular commercial mgs on my mobile for pretty long time for which I had been bearing the cost of such unwanted services and the matter was brought to notice of local Airtel office and it was settle for the time being. Nowfor over months it has ben costly proposition on my part to bear with regular rs 3 / 5 overnight deduction from my balance . While trying to bring to notice on line customer service , the other end do not sound any option for complaint and as such matter left unresolved.May I through your good office to address and resolve this greivence to recover lost amount and to ensure block of such unrully trade by the sdaid service provider as it went against the interest of consumer. With regard and thanks in anticipation .

    Default New MicroSim Connection

    I went to the airtel franchise near forum mall, Bangalore. Despite saying number of times, they gave me normal-size sim instead of micro sim. When I came back and checked the sim, I went next weekend to change it. They did not have the stock and asked me to come the next day. When I reached there, they started asking me for address proof. I had already given id proof, address proof and company id-card. These were the documents required last time - a week back. But this time, they insisted on a separate address proof document. When I explained them number of times, they started misbehaving. They were ready to give new connection for the document I had, but not the micro sim which I wanted. Finally after arguing number of times, they gave me the form to take new connection. But they made me wait for half an hour and started misbehaving. Overall, I had to leave my old airtel number, get the new number and that too I don't know whether they will act on it or not. I must say I am highly disappointed with such poor service from one of the leading brands.

    Default Airtel Duplicate SIM issue for my numner 9844210175 (bangalore)

    I lost my mobile & SIM for which i applied for Duplicate SIM on 14th May in Marathalli ACR. I visited 4-5 times already to the care center post it but still the Duplicate sim is not activated.
    I called on 17th May to Nodal officer, he assured issue to be resolved end of day but no resolution & no communication what is the issue.
    Today again i visited outlet , outlet person has no answer why it is not happening.
    I again called nodal officer in morning at 11:00. Again it was told it is showing pending & will be resolved sooner today.But no avail.
    Again now i called at 4:00 pm & receieved similar answer.
    Is some one listening or this is the atitude with customers?
