    Default Regarding services disconnected on Prepaid connection

    Hi,

    I have migrated from an Airtel Postpaid customer to a prepaid customer.
    I have been using the postpaid services for almost 2 years & now move to prepaid Date: Dec 31st 2010

    Note: As per the procedure to convert a postpaid to a prepaid connection, we shall have enroll as new customer with the enrollment form, migration form, Proof of Identity.
    I had given all these documents at the Airtel exclusive outlet at Nandidurga Road, Bangalore.

    Had lot of trouble getting it changed. In 4 days of my usage on prepaid connection, they barred my Outgoing services on my number.

    Called to the customer, reason provided was that the documents were not submitted which was not true.
    I submitted the documents for the second time at the same outlet to ensure continued servies, & now the Incoming services are barred, when called to the same airtel Customer care. Its the same reason they provide, " that we have not received any documentation from me". (ID proof & the Airtel enrollment form)

    The attitude of the people at the Airtel Exclusive outlets is arrogant & careless behavior at the customers visiting the outlets. This is becoming a major setback with the customers in getting continued services.

    Thumbs down Airtel Prepaid SIM registration failed

    Dear Airtel,

    I am having SIM card (9818395818) from past 5-6 years post paid , the same i have converted to lifetime prepaid card 2 yaers back & continues to using prepaid services July 2010 i recharge & after some days I got message sim registartion failed I contacted customer care but no response.Now this number is allocated to somebody else HOW you can give someone identity to somebosy else with in 4-5 months .You people are cheating to innocent people.


    Please resolve the issue at earliest.
