I had purchased a ZTE 3G USB Dongle through reliance authorised dealer in second week of May. Have got a 3G data post paid connection.
Right from first day, the USB dongle has not been working properly. first time it connects well but after disconnecting, quitting the dialer and removing the dongle from USB port when reinserted, it doesnt get connected. always an error message " connect failed" appears.
have to restart the laptop or remove the #g dialler from programms and reinstall the driver. this is really cumbersome.
spent few hours on calls to reliance customer care and tried out various options.... no resolution. Finally was informe dby customer care executive to take the dongle to authorised service centre.
accordingly went to Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd, Bhimnagar Chowk Gurgaon on 13th July 2012. after examining the dongle, they confirmed it is defective and will be replaced after they get stock ( roughly 4-5 days). The complaint was registered and after repeted follow up after a week, was finally told to contact their Karnal branch office Mr Deepak (09355226007). called him on 23rd July 2012.The gentleman was quite polite and assured a quick resolution in 3-4 days stating that since ZTE central warehouse has moved from Gurgaon to Chennai, there is a delay in logistics. Nothing has happened till now.
Request intervention from concerned higher officals to have the replacement done immediately, In case it is not happeneing please arrange to take back the USB dongle and arrange to reimburse Rs1199/- paid for the same.
