my name is Amit Bhatt S/O T.R bhatt. i purchased a Vodafone number
9888847720 in the year 2005
i enjoyed the prepaid services of Vodafone and was happy with
Vodafone.this year i thought to convert from prepaid to postpaid,and
got the student 99 plan.
few months back i got a bill of rs 1300 approx. and was unable to pay
in one go. so i paid my bill in 3-4 months ..
my services stopped because of non payment of bill . but this month i managed to pay all my dues.

i wanted to convert it back to prepaid .i visited Vodafone store and i
was told to come next day as that day i cleared all my pending dues.

i am a student and my college is 32 kms away.i return back home at 7
o clock everyday, and it was hard for me to visit Vodafone store. i was waiting for the
right day.
now the problem is that after clearing all my dues my number got
deactivated and has been given to somebody else.

i don't understand how this happened. when i cleared all the dues then
why was my number deactivated and given to some other customer.

i had been your customer for past 5 years and my number has been
distributed among many friends relatives an many IT organizations as i
had mentioned the number in all my resumes.

if possible can the number 9888847720 be given back to me.


please take appropriate actions to solve my problem
