    Default Plan changed without intimation.

    Hi,
    I am using the mobile number +919995050480 from "Airtel" over the last five years. The sim was on a plan called "friends" which offered a variety of services for lifetime which included 15 paise per all India SMS, 15 paise per minute to call four selected numbers, reduced call rates at night and much more and I had to pay Rs.350 as its price while the price for normal plan connection was Rs.50 or so. I haven't changed my plan manually by any means, neither through re-charges nor contacting a customer care. Suddenly one day I realised I wasnt getting any of the specified offers. On contacting the customer care, the executive acted as if he's ignorant of the situation and forwarded the call to his boss. I stayed on forwarded call for more than five minutes and nobody attended. All that time I was being charged for that call. I tried about a dozen times and the same thing happened. Then I approached a customer care centre where I was treated like a culprit, they were accusing me of changing the plan myself. After a long argument they said that "friends" plan is no more in effect and they could offer me some other plans if I wish. I want the same offers I had when I purchased my sim card which offered for lifetime.

    Airtel has acted so irresponsibly with me. I have a postpaid connection as well (+919746401480) and the customer care support provided for that is so very good, a technical support person even visited me when I had gprs connectivity issue. So from this what I understand is they don't care about pre-paid customers at all.

    I need my pre-paid number to be reinstated to friends plan.

    Thanks a lot Rakesh for your reply, but this was the same reply I got once from customer care representative and it's past two months now. Nobody did contact me on my prepaid, whilst I am getting all the promotional calls and customer reviews on my postpaid connection. Still I am concerned about your attitude towards prepaid customers. I would appreciate a speedy resolution.
