    Default Frustrated with airtel service and feedback of customer care



    hello,
    my mobile no. is 9898683063
    I have got my SMS recharged of Rs. 32 dated on 21st Oct,2010 which carries validity of 30 days. but the airtel service provider has stopped service in 15 days on 5th November 2010. I have called many time to customer care and every time they give excuse about technical problems. and promised to give it back but no response even after getting promise from 5 customer executives. Every time i have to explain all the details, i don't know why the hell they record our conversation and give us the ref. number..I have wasted almost 5 hours for that purpose.
    please do Needful help..

    Default New Connection

    Have applied for a new airtel connection on 29-Dec-2010 between 12 noon & 1:00pm with one of their sales executives in Cognizant office in Tambaran.

    Following are the details & Sequence of events:

    Application# MTN 90566580 (have provided pan copy, voter ID copy for proof of address and DoB)
    Date of Aplication: 29-Dec-2010
    Date of activiation promised: 30-Dec-2010, 6:00pm.
    Location: Cognizant Tamabram office

    1) So far the SIM is not activated, on continuous reminders I was given to understand that, the Sales Executive to whom I have given the moeny & application (Appa/Srinivasa Rao- 9940184261) has quit the organization.

    2) After a while I contacted another person in the same premises by name Paneer (99400 69090) who has promised to activate SIM. Ane he said the earlier provided number is not available and provided a new number which will be activated by 13-Jan 2011, 6:00pm.

    3) So far not activated, I have called-up airtel customer care @ 98940 12345, where in they registered a complaint and promised provide a resolution by 28-Jan-2011.

    I was not sure why as customer I have to wait almost for a month for new connection.

    Default Unmatchable Services i Received from Airtel

    Hi ,

    My name is harvinder singh my airtel number is -8826813299,i bought this is connection for someone who is only in india for 25 days,i purchased this number 3 weeks back i have given all the required documents what i was told,on 23rd jan i used this SIM for two hours i made two out calls as well,then i kept it because it was working fine.Two days back that guy came for whom i bought this connection ,we put the sim and number was inactive ,in the morning at 430 i made first call to customer service,he told me you need to submit your documents at any nearest airtel store- it would be activated in 4 hours ,i did the same thing i drove 4 km from my place went to tilak nagar to sheeba telecome (airtel shop)they simply refused to take my document ,as per them i supposed to resubmit these document to that guy who initially collected from you.(that was fu...)are we still in 80ies where you cannot get sugar without ration card.i was shocked by the response.i have explained them i had a word with customer service but they simply denied .after one hour just to check any alternative i have called again to customer service ,you can't believe everyone has different information,that agent was saying it was not inactive because of document later on i have informed him then he realized that he has software where he can check this info then he agreed.

    On that same call i asked for supervision ,but no one seems to helped me they failed to provide me any alternative ..everyone was saying you need to submit the document at the same guy.man you are not the only service provider look outside even mts and other mobile service have this facility .this is biggest mistake i have made ever.Yesterday i have given my documents to the same store and its been 24 hrs and im still waiting for airtel to respond back.The only reason i cannot go for another number becuase that NRI family has printed this number on wedding cards ,they are here for special occasion for their daughter marriage and Airtel is messing everything up.Please look in to this issue..i have resubmit my document already

    Default I aml cheated multiple times

    I have already 4 prepaid connections lost each one of the at least Rs200.00. One of the I have more than Rs300.00 in balance, always kept on line for messaging, but one day evening battery drained, within hours phone one back online, but telephone line got disconnected and lost the balance. Airtel simply cheated me the balance amount in the prepaid. Only in India, consumers protection is very bad, and Indian companies can cheat customers without any fear.

    I have tried to talk to the Airtel support immediately to restore the phone on the same day, and next day - many times, and also send many emails. Airtel has not moved by requests.

    Default Bad customer service experience

    I have called up Airtel Customer service on 121 , so many times , but there is no response. I wanted to know the contact details of Blackberry Helpdesk , which they were not providing to me .

    Sorry to say , but it is a real bad customer service experience with AIRTEL
