    Angry Complaint against Vodafone and Matrix Cellular Services

    I am working with Nucleus Software Exports Limited, Noida. A Vodafone sales officer by the name Pramod Kumar comes to our office to give corporate plans to Nucleus Employees.

    A Vodafone connection was also sold to me by Mr. Pramod with the number 9873695582. He had clearly mentioned that the connection sold to me was a corporate connection and among the plans he had shown me I opted the Yearly rental 998 plan. He had pamphlets clearly mentioning the following features are available on the corporate connection he was giving me:

    No Clip Charges
    No Security Deposits
    No monthly rentals
    I also confirmed the above mentioned features would be applicable on my phone as well showing it is an I Phone. He had confirmed that the same will also be applicable for your phone and connection. He clearly mentioned once the connection gets activated, he has to initiate the process for the same by mailing regarding the same to the concerned department and then these facilities (GPRS, International Roaming) will be available to me without any monthly rentals and deposits respectively.



    After giving him the entire details regarding the connection such as Id Proof (Passport copy) and Nucleus Identity Card copy (for corporate connection), a call from activation department came in a few days regarding the activation of the connection. I told the person from the activation department as well that I wanted the two features (GPRS and International Roaming) as committed to me. I also asked him to increase my credit limit from 1000 to 1500. He agreed to do the same regarding the credit limit but said that he had received no such request regarding the International roaming and GPRS. I told him to confirm and told him the name of the sales officer. The next day the sales officer Mr. Pramod's phone came and he told me to say to the concerned guy if he calls again to say that everything is fine and please activate the number ASAP. He said for both facilities he will mail once the connection is activated and if I mention the same to the guy who calls then the activation might get delayed. But after that no phone call came and the connection got activated.

    Now when I tried to use the GPRS on my phone it is not working. I called up customer care then Mr. Amir at customer care told me that that I need to pay a monthly rental for using GPRS facility on I Phone. Secondly, I was told that there is a Rs. 6500 security deposit for the International Roaming. Thirdly my connection is not a corporate connection.

    Upon constantly following up still there is no resolution to my problem.

    Dear Admin,

    I would like to update you on the current status of the issue I am facing.

    This is to bring to your notice that the Vodafone Sales agent Mr. Pramod Kumar who comes to my office sold me a Vodafone Connection 9873695582.

    The same was sold to me by the promises that International Roaming will be activated free of charge, without any activation fee. Also it was promised that GPRS connectivity will have no monthly rentals.

    But after the connection was activated till now both the facilities have not been activated and after consulting with customer care I came to know that the International Roaming has a security fee of Rs. 6500 and GPRS has monthly rental charges. Today I confronted him when he was in my office selling other connections then he says that he had requested the International Roaming application but when I called the customer care says Vodafone does not allow International Roaming without Security Fee. Also Mr. Pramod Kumar now says that GPRS has a monthly rental on your IPhone and not on other phones, while I had already shown him the Phone while taking the connection. He instead of admitting his own mistakes said that the entire blame was mine of not clarifying the things earlier and started arguing instead.


    I have already paid the yearly rental of Rs.1000 which Vodafone refuses to adjust on closing the connection.

    Please help as to how to proceed with this issue.

    With Regards to Your Postpaid Services used by me From Last 2-3 Yrs , I didnt faced any issue , but from Last Couple of Weeks , I am not getting any Relavant Service from Your Executive ( Kalyan Vodafone House ) . As my Obligation is that My bill is Pending from Last 3 Mnths , wherein I didnt received any call or any reminder from your side . And also when i visited Vodafone House . Ididnt received proper services .
    As i wanted Satisfactory Settlement in Bill and the same i requested to the Executive , but was of no use . Hence request you to please Kindly Co-ordinate and Get Back to Me .

    Default Erroneous and wrongful disconnection of my vodafone no.

    am a customer of orange,hutch and now vodafone for over 10 yrs now and have a excellent
    record so far. My primary mobile no. is 9820601839 9820601839. I have never written or had any complaint
    till the other day and i feel this requires some serious introspection by the Vodafone customer service
    department. Last month, as my usual practice has been i paid the bill much before the due date
    and the said cheque was cashed by Vodafone as reflected in my bank statement. However what
    followed is really shameful and unprofessional. I was flooded with a series of calls and sms's to
    make payment of the bill and i even faxed a copy of my bank statement to one of the representatives.
    However on 4th May my outgoing was disconnected. I made several calls to the call centre before this
    date asking to speak to the supervisor but in vain. I would get a reply that the supervisors are busy
    and will call back in 2 hours which they never did. Following the intervention of the nodal officer my
    line was restored after 32 hours following which i lodged an official written complaint by mail demanding
    a written explanation. In reply to this all i get is a call from a call centre employee saying that this wont
    happen again. Now what i demand to know is why was my line disconnected in the first place when
    Vodafone already had cashed my cheque and your team has not updated the same? Why was i
    harassed and flooded with calls for a fault at your end? Vodafone very well knows that had this been some
    other country they would have been sued for the same and because of the time consuming legal system
    in India i assume the attitude of Vodafone towards a genuine and bonafide customer can afford to be
    so disrespectful and laid back? THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN AND SOMEBODY ACCOUNTABLE MUST GIVE A REPLY OR TAKE SOME ACTION

    Default Facing a problem with Matrix

    Dear Sir,

    We have 25 Vodafone connections in the name of Saksoft Limited. We are facing the service interuption problems occasionally. In the month of may there were interuption in the numburs of our senior sales peoples due to which they were failed to get meeting schedules and company lost some business. can you please sugest how we can recover that loss from Matric Cellular Services Limited. I was assured better services many times by Mr daud Ali and Love Kumar Gupta but still I don't know what is their role why they are doing like this. This poor person wants justice from you.

    Hi,

    I am having Vodafone number - 9899144557. I lost my mobile yesterday and tried to block the SIM with Matrix cellular since morning. When I call at vodafone, they say that I have to get in touch with matrix customer care number - 9811188888 to block the card. When I call at this number, no one picks it up. I have been trying time and again but the response is same. I am really frustrated with the vodafone/matrix cellular services. At the time of buying the SIM, I was being informed that I am getting Vodafone number, however, now I don't get any of vodafone services, instead I am being asked to get in touch with matrix cellular whose services are pathetic. Now the situation is, I can't block my SIM, because vodafone is not accepting the request and matrix cellular is not picking up the phone, meanwhile if someone try to use my SIM, I will have to bear the cost of all the calls which I haven't made. I want justice from you.

    Post Matrix Mobile - fraudulent debit to my credit card account

    Hi,

    I was approached by Matrix mobiles and they offered me a SIM for UK (T-mobile). I was told that the SIM would be free since I was a Deutsche Bank Platinum card holder and also that I presented necessary American Express vouchers to certify that I was eligible for a free SIM.

    However I notice that they have blocked as sum of INR.10,000 instaed of INR.5000 on my credit card and they have fraudulently debited a sum of INR.400 into my credit card as monthly rental. I have not even inserted the SIM card to my mobile yet.

    Default Outgoing service of my vodafone matrix sim has stopped

    i hav matrix sir on company name...............i hav paid my bill of 1000 Rs. on 27-may-2011 my no is 7838599025.
    They stopped my outgoing service on 2-june-11.............saying that company outstanding is due.............group of sim has been purchased on companys account.................if i had payed my bill...........then y they stopped my service...........the sim from which they didnt get payment of bill they had to stop that service...........not the rest of the sim..............

    Thumbs down Suffering from Vodafone services

    Vodafone has stopped my outgoing calls, sms and internet on 01/11/11. I have not crossed my discount limit now but still my outgoing is stopped. First they said my SIM is not working properly and released a new SIM to me. When I asked them to activate my new SIM they suggested me to use old SIM so that my all services can be activated. Now my both SIM are deactivated. I am in touch with customer care but in vain. (Last month also my outgoing was deactivated but started within 4 hours).

    Every time they said it will start working after two hours. Now, I want to discontinue Vodafone services but neither they are closing my number nor they are activating my outgoing.
