    Dear Sir,

    I procured Idea Net setter about 4-5 months back. When the representative sold me
    the netsetter at that time he told me that the net setter will work very good and if
    I am not satisfied with the service then I can get the refund of my money. I paid Rs
    2400/- for the net setter and Rs 500/- as activation charges.

    After that he gave me the net setter which was not working at all. After so many
    phone calls and lot of follow up the card was activated after a week. and the person
    who sold me the card is disappeared without giving me the Purchase bill. Now he is
    not at all reachable.

    Now for every 10 or 15 days I face a problem and the net is not getting connected I
    am always been shown the error no 619 on screen. Then the cycle gets repeated. I
    call to Idea care they tell me that I will get a call within 24 hours then somebody
    calls me next day. And again the net starts.

    Whenever the net is connected at that time I dont get the desired speed. some time
    range is not there or some time speed is not there.

    Hardly I am able to use the net for 3-4 hours a month and I pay @ Rs 250/- per month
    for just having the worst net setter with me.

    Today I visited My Idea Gallery to return the net setter and get my money back. But
    they told me that I will not get my money back. If needed they can stop the services
    to that card.

    I am totally frustrated due the service level I am getting from Idea.

    Please suggest me what is to be done to get my money back.

    You are not new I am facing the too many problems with this company. I was offered an Idea Cellular Broadband connection. I was told I will have to pay a 1 year rental of Rs. 1000 towards it and all my local outgoing calls to GSM services would be charged at Re. 0.99, STD's to GSM would be at Re. 1.75 and I would get 50 sms, For the first month I could not activate any call package and had to pay high call rates and no sms's were free.

    Default Free misleading offers by Idea customer care

    Idea Cellular Service sends us messages like "Your voice mail service will be activated from next month at charges 30 Rs per month. If you do not require it, please messege to *&**&* number". How that is possible?? I think it should be other way. They can not charge us even if we do not send message. They should ask for our confirmation in writing if they are enforcing any scheme. This is like they are selling their schemes forcefully. Maan na maan, main tera mehman??? i hope you will take some steps against it.

    There should be mandatory rule, if they want any change in the scheme, or any chargable scheme is applicable, they should have users permission or approval prior to activating the scheme. They just can not enforce the scheme. Thanks.

    Default Without taking permission starting services

    Dear Sir,

    Yesterday 'Rehman' pretending to be Idea customer care given me call in moring saying if you opt for Rs.131, you will get rate for local Rs.0.60/min and for STD Rs.1.00/min. I asked in local market, the offered scheme is available for Rs.181 voucher for a year. I decided if he calls me I will opt for it. In the evening when he called he turned his statement with Rs.131 I will not get facility for lower STD rate. Then I said 'No' to him. Person said now I will show, how I will play with you? Immediately on yesterday I have called to Idea customer care and again said about the incidence and asked them not to start any service. When I given a call to my student at around 1.00pm I found that the service for lower rate has started. I immediately complained to Idea customer care. They said we will stop this service. Meanwhile, again one more service started called as T & B missed calls services started. Is this the way they have to start services without taking any consent?

    is there any controlling body? If yes please give me the method how I can lounge complaint and stop such nuisance.

    In my opinion there should be mandatory rule, if they want any change in the scheme, or any chargeable scheme is applicable, they should have users permission or approval prior to activating the scheme. They just can not enforce the scheme. Thanks.

    Pls. provide us your complete address, so according to which we can provide you the contact details of Idea Company's Executive for your area, who is dealing with such kinds of complaints. To deactivate the VAS (value added service) and get the refund.

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officer.

    * IDEA CO. HAS GIVEN ME A REF. NO. 9011027146 FOR IDEA NETSETTER FOR
    ANY COMPLAINT OR CONTACT. *
    * MY COMPLAINT IS = THERE IS NO CONTINUE CONNECTIVITY OF THE INTERNET
    OR IRREGULAR CONNECTIVITY AND IT IS VERY MUCH TROUBLE SOME FOR ME. I
    COMPLAINT FOR THIS FROM DT. 4 SETP.09 BUT TILL DATE THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING.

    i am gunna santhoshkumar one year back i bought a idea sim thats cost is295.But now its cost is only 25 with life time.And they also can get 3re
    balance but i cant get any balance i have contect with your custmor sarvice but they say some thing another.YOU ARE CUTHE MAIN POINT IS THAT URE ADDING SONG TO MENY MOBILES(9848.....LIKE THAT SONG AND TTING MY BALANCE.so please suggist that do not do such akind of things

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Wait for the response for at least 10 days because the Nodal officer will have to provide you any solution within 10 working days. Send a written complaint and kindly revert back soon after getting any reply from him. The address is:

    I am not happy with idea internet broadband if people who sell the USB broadband do not have enough knowledge of service and do not tell write date of information so do not give distributors ship to people who is not ready to help customer

    I think idea cellular are the worst ppl in giving services to the customer. I have been strugling for last 1 month to activate my prepaid number to postpaid number..

    Dear Sir,

    My idea prepaid No is 9881960398. I had purchased it from Pune. Now I am in Mumbai.
    This number has validity periods of 2 more years(upto 2011 , May) and currently has balance of Rs 7/-.

    But neither any call is going out nor any call is comming.

    Hi,

    I have checked with the STD calls and it seems that the Offer is still
    not activated on our connections. I have recharged for Rs. 45 at first and
    I didn't get any response for the connection's status. I have again
    recharged for Rs. 47 to avail the 1 Paise offer. I have been called by a
    Representative Officer (complaint numbers for 9964204954 is 250690966, and
    complaint number for 9844402187 is 250691088) and was told that the free 65
    minutes of FREE STD offer (first told to be 75 minutes) is activated or will
    be activated soon. I have made some STD calls and have been charged Rs.
    1.50. I want the charges to be refunded (RS. 1.63 for the STD call I made at
    last which I'm aware of) as I have experienced the same kind of issues many
    times.

    I was told that the amount cannot be transferred to main balance and
    this request is pending from so long. It would be great if I could get eh
    amount in the main balance as this is a case of ignorance.

    Please do the needful at the earliest so that I can enjoy the service at
    the earliest.
