BPL Mobile I have a BPL Postpaid number. I recently called and enquired about the
GPRS rates and was told that the downloading is free. I called the
customer care again to confirm and after being sure of the downloads
are free i downloaded a lot. But when i got the bill there was an
amount of 800 Rs for GPRS usage. I was shocked and called in to enquire
about it and was told that it is not free. I explained that i was told
that it was free. I went though the entire redressal process and
complained about this but no one helped me and they all told me that i
have to make the payment and unwillingly i had to pay the amount. I got
very upset and wanted to file a consumer case but am not aware about
the process. Can it be done online?

Here no one cares for the consumer. Cry on each other's shoulder & resr assured
nothing will be done.
As regardsto your complaint regarding wrong information & Billing. No one will
inform you in advance all the details. Pl. note your Internet download may be
free, but you will be charged for the time as call rate (Air time) and for that
you pay thru your nose. This is what we all face.
