    Default Complaint - Vodafone No 9820109246

    There was a call to my mobile no around 3rd week of March'10 asking me if i want to activate caller tune on my no at a discounted rate of Rs 20/- pm and I have to pay lumpsum of 120.00 + 15.00 (down loading charges) on bill for the month of May'10. They asked me for a song of my choice, which i said "Let me be the love that comes from the sun". They said the song will be activated from 12th of April when my next billing cycle starts.

    Today is 12th April, at 7 pm i receivde a message that Rs 30.00 will be charged for caller tune activation. I immediately called 198 and they asked me ignore the sms. TO my surprise at 10 am i hear some other ring tone on my mobile when I tried calling from my landphone. I immediately called 198, TO MY SURPRISE they said I requested the same at 7 pm today and I selected the song which is so unknown to me. I 1st spoke to Mr.Arif Mohammed, he disconnected the phone twice. Then when I called again Ms. Salma picked up the call and escalated to Mr.Salman Kurawle. To my utter surprise Salman confirmed that I requested Vodafone to activate and forced me to accept the same. I disconnected the call after teling him that I would go to consumer forum.

    Mr. Salman called me around 10.30 pm again and asked to deactivate the services and he wanted to take a request on deactivation. He also said the charge of Rs.30 will be revised but downloading charges of Rs.15.00 will be there in my next bill. The COMPLAINT NO IS 987544170

    I REFUSE TO DEACTIVATED AS I HVE NOT ACTIVATED THE SAME. IT IS HUMILIATION TO ANY CUSTOMER AND VODAFONE CAN BE CHARGED FOR FALSE ALLEGATION ON THE CUSTOMER. I HAVE NEVER FAILED TO PAY MY BILL ON TIME. SO WHY THIS HARASSMENT? i AM NOT LIABLE TO PAY ANY MONEY FOR THE FAULT OF VODAFONE EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE MADE WRONG ENTRY IN MY ACCOUNT. PLEASE SOLVE THIS WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY AS I AM GOING THROUGH MENTAL AGAONY AND TORTURE.

    Default Misselling of Postpaid CUG connection

    Hi Sir/Mam

    This is Vinay from ICICI Bank .i am an existting Customer with the num 9052201415 iam into the plan of rs 149 where my company is offering airtel CUG with 99 plan free AtoA 100 min and A to Other 50 min so i decided to take that plan .i calld to Vodafone cm care regd the same to check that vodafone people is offering that CUG plan but ur officer said that we dont have the details of the plan .so i decided to cancel the plan.on the next day i got a call to my num 9052201415 from the person name Manjula se said that we to have the plan of the same she infromed me that there is a ICICI CUG plan with the rent of 99 per month CUG to CUG free and V to V 100 min and V to Other 50 min free monthly and she said on the total bill u will be getting 5%discount .she said that she has taken the req and ask me to visit Vodafone store .i askd her that can i take one more new connection in my name she sais yes and i taken the a new num 9885500020 with that plan .i had deposited 300 as CUG advance .in the store when the serivce has been activated i calld to vodafone customer care she said that there is no such plan wth free Vto V 100 mins and V to Other mins and 5 % discount there is no offer only i have CUG to CUG free .it means that u have cheated me i will inform to all my collleges to cancel the Vodafone CUG plan our employees in 99 plan 249 plan 199 plan i will infrom them to cancel this vodafone service coz they have gven me the wrong information .i was planned to club my both nums in to oneBill 9885500020 ,9052201415 but i was cheated i want to cancel the same ASAP kindly do the needful .Awaiting your reply and i want my 300 rs refund

    If u are not helping many numbers will be cancelled EX:905220145,9885500020,9985399716,9966667308 this are ony few num i will infrm all my colleges to cancel the Vodafone service

    Thumbs down Complaint against Vodafone

    This is a complaint against VODAFONE SERVICES. I bought a vodafone sim(# 8095626554) in the 1st week of march & from the day the sim was active, i have been getting flash messages on my cellphone for every 30 secs. I called Vodafone customer service which is now a charged number several times to get flash messages de-activated. They guided me through various procedures on my cellphone like looking for My services , entertainment , media & god knows what all to get these. The customer service is so sick that they could not understand that i dont have any such option in my cellphone they are talking about. I was taken for a ride by so many agents as half of them hung up on me & the rest said that these messages cannot be de-activated. I spoke to santosh & eventually got angry & demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was then put across to a floor supervisor Basavaraj who promised that these service messages will be de-activated within 24hrs. But till now i m
    being bombarded with these flash messages which flash on my screen everytime(even when my phone is locked). It is consuming all battery charge as it is a flash message & i m forced to keep my phone on charger the entire day. I m fed up of talking to vodafone as they seem to be enjoying the income from these flash messages but they dont realise how inconvenient it is to the consumer. Please take this matter very very seriously because vodafone not just has this flash messages service but this service is active from 6am to 2am(mid night) which is ridiculous. They dont even god damn let me sleep in peace. My phone keeps flashing till 2am in the night. I ve spent too much money talking to customer service & i wish to get a compensation against it. Please let me know if there is any other information required.

    Exclamation I Need My Old Number

    I Have 1 old vodaphone number,its not usingby me last six month,,now its not working thenafter then are not given me ,,they give me in postpaid connection for thier income..i needthat number in prepaid connection...why they are not providing in prepaid connection,,i have alreay rechare it lifetime,please give me back my that old number in prepaid

    I have puchased new vodafone connection no.9582599369 by costomer care center preet vihar delhi .

    But after passing of two months , my connection not starded i have submitted more then ten compliants personaly.

    Hi
    My name is madhu sudhan and I’m using vodafone 9888031741(postpaid) from 3 to 4 year but the problem is I’m having two FNF no. on which special tariff is given i.e.0.5 per minute and it is charged 25 rupee per no. as a rent but from past two month it is charged as a normal no. as a result of which my outstanding balance is 3240 and a no. is suspended I’m continuously, talking to Vodafone's executives and visited local vodafone store in gurdaspur also...it always says that wavier will be granted to you shortly or within two to three days but all in vain.
    i request the court to take serious action against vodafone.

    SIR,
    This is R.Ramakrishna, my sim was deactivated on 20-Aug-2010 without any intimation. Then I make a call to customer care and gave another contact number. I got a call from customer care on 23-Aug-2010. They told me that please resubmit my documents then your sim will be activated. After talking with customer care I resubmit my documents on 25-Aug-2010 and I also submitted my old sim also. They gave a new sim and told me that sim will activate within 48 hours. But still my sim was not activated when I move to customer care in Visakhapatnam the executives in Voda care not responding correctly.
    Please do needful and do as early as possible.

    Am sorry to inform you sir but we are not happy wit your vodafone messaging service. Am from assam, here the message pack costs rs.34 and before we got 15000msgs to all netwroks but now d scheme has been changed. Please get us the old scheme. Itz a request plz...

    Default Forcably have set caller tune in my vodaphone mobile

    Hi,

    2 Weeks back I got a call from Vodafone call center saying that my number got selected in some scheam for caller tune and asked me to accept the same. I told them that I am not intrested in caller tune. But they continously called me and told that , we have some process and as per that I will get a call from other person in 2min asking for activating the caller tune . I was asked to tell Yes to that and the person who called me told that she will deactivate in another 1 hour once it got activated. But after it got activated it did not get deactivated and 180 got charged for my account . My mobile is a post paid card .
    I am requeting to take immediate action againts the same as these people are forcably setting caller tunes with out the customers intrest.

    Default Complaint Against Vodofone

    This is in regard to the non usage amount to be refunded to my vodafone account for Post-paid Vodafone number 9846157294. After using this post-paid connection for 6 long years, had asked for the discontinuation of
    service for the same in Jan 2010. However it was not disconnected and I paid rental amount of Rs 1500 extra for not using the number at all!!! After several attempts of following up with the executives it was disconnected in June (after 6 months) and was promised to return the non usage amount (Rs 1500). I am sorry to state that the cheque
    has not been delivered yet.

    I am tired of following up like this each and every time. Customer care which claims to be “Happy to Help " is of no use and my efforts for past 1year to claim my own money back have gone in vain. This is very frustrating and would never want to use or recommend anyone to use Vodafone or any of its services in future. If I contact the Mumbai Customer care I am asked to call Trivandrum Customer care and when I call Trivandrum customer care I am redirected to Mumbai customer care.

    This is really annoying. Vodafone is an international brand I trusted it, but I guess that I was wrong.

    Kindly do the needful.
