    Thumbs down Complaint about vodafone

    We had a third party company by the name of Mobycom call us without permission on behalf of Vodafone, the salesman came over to our house, made us offers we couldn't refuse and then got us to sign this form telling us it was an application form to see if we qualify for the offer. I asked the salesman to email the offer to me so I had it in writing and then we will go ahead with it, when he did, it was not what we had discussed, then a box of phones along with invoices turn up on our doorstep. We tried several times to contact the salesman for Mobycom but no one returned our calls, then we were told he was on holidays, the business card that was given to us to contact them if we had any queries had a disconnected number and there was no Mobycom business at the address on the B/C. We finally got hold of the customer service manager for Mobycom and he told us we were under contract and we couldn't do anything about it. He was very rude and abrupt. He was not very helpful so we took the phones and the paperwork to the nearest Vodafone store and explained our situation to the sales staff there. They told us that they get complaints from Mobycom customers all the time and that our paper was the worst they have ever seen, not filled out correctly and that it was invalid. They put us onto the state customer service manager for Vodafone and she promised us that this will get solved. It is going onto to more than 3 months now and after several emails, nothing has been done, instead we are getting bills from Vodafone for 8 phone numbers we don't even have and final warning letters saying that it is going to affect our credit rating. We have never had a contract or phone with Vodafone to make such calls but we are getting bills and final warning letters from them. We are with Optus and will never go with Vodafone. Can you help us or give us advise on what we should do? Thank you Anita and Luke.

    i have purchased usb stick with prepaid no.from vodafone store and i recharged it by 499 from same store. this is not working from 8 days.i have complain at customer care and vodafone store but there is no answer for my problem.so please do help me to solve my problem....usb stick no..8447323318 and my contact no. 9717732662

    I m a BSNL customer and serving in BSF.Last few months mostly in midnight i have goted MISSCALLED by a VODAFONE NO - 09627372339. when i call him/her back he cancelled the call and not attend. so please either give me the detail of this customer or longe complain against him.

    my num is 8880855559. i get ported to vodaphone. i cont send massage. out going massage is not going. no one is taking action about this. i am in karnataka, mysore. i submeted my id also. in vodaphone office ,they wil tell id is updated there is problem of id. when i call to custamar care, they wil tell id is not submeted , so this problem. please take action regarding this

    Default COMPLAINT ON VODAFONE and Its CUSTOMER CARE

    My name is Satya Vamsi Krishna Katari and my Vodafone number is 9985085899. By seeing my number you can understand from when I was using this number and how loyal customer I am for Vodafone. Even though I have very bad experiences with Vodafone, I didn't disconnect the service as I like to remain on this number. Now that portal switching came into picture I don't find any reason to stay with Vodafone considering the worst customer service your phone support people are providing. Sorry to say worst, but its true. If you don't believe me, please call to Vodafone customer care and check for yourself, just ask them to transfer to a supervisor, I bet you will be in hold for the whole day or mostly get disconnected.
    Let me tell you what happened actually. Today(28th Aug'2011) I have sent an SMS to one of my friend who has a local Vodafone number 9703584868 and it was charged 5/- for me. I don't understand why and I called up customer care. The first agent name was Aarthi(I believe), she said I have sent a ISD SMS, so I was charged 5/-, then I asked her to transfer to a supervisor for which she said okay, and disconnect my call. Then I called 2nd time(the WORST HUMILIATION), the agent was Ram this time, I don't know how he was in a customer care even though he don't know how to talk to a customer, he is the reason why I was very frustrated and been forced to write a mail to you. He said I have sent an SMS to way2sms or something like that. I told him that I didn't do that for which he reacted in a weird way saying that "I HAVE ALL THE DETAILS HERE, I CAN SEE WHAT YOU DID". This was a shock to me from a customer care agent. Then I asked him, if he thinks I was lying for which he shockingly said "YES".... This was another shock to me. Then I told him, I don't have that much time to call to your bloody customer care to do some pranks. Then immediately that fool(sorry for my VERBATIM, but I am super frustrated) started giving some foolish verbiage "TIMEPASS CUSTOMER, DISCONNECTING THE CALL"... This is another shock to me in this same call.. WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE EVEN THINKING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE??????.... IS THIS WHY THESE PEOPLE ARE RECRUITED FOR??????? And this hasn't stopped here, I again called 2 times trying if atleast one agent will do his job, everyone are saying the samething I have sent a SMS to ISD number. I have rechecked many times on my phone. I am 100% sure I have sent it only to the number I have stated above and I have selected it from my contacts,so there is no way I can enter 2 zeroes before the number which the customer care people are trying to convince me. This number is saved as +919703584868 and I have also sent an SMS to the same number after all this RIGMAROLE and hasn't been charged this time(as I've 10000 free sms offer). And I have tried in the same fashion earlier it was charged 5/-. The 4th time I have called to customer care, I waited for 20 minutes to get a supervisor online and the call was disconnected even after waiting for 20 minutes... This is HUMILIATION, not SERVICE... I am actually a customer care executive my self and I can understand that the resolution cannot be instant, atleast they should have transfer me to their supervisor, I BEGGED one executive to create a ticket atleast regarding this for which he said he CANNOT do that...
    Firstly my balance is deducted for no good reason, then I have to call to customer service and have to be on hold for 20 minutes only to get more balance to be deducted. Is this the way these people work, can some action be taken on these people and some resolution to my problem??????
    Hoping some action on this ASAP.....

    Default complaint against vodafone blackberry internet service

    it has been 03 days since i have been making so many calls to the vodafone cust care but still no resolution. on 26th oct 2011 I was unable to use internet through my blackberry as the services were automatically got disconnected, i dont know for what reason.

    since 26th every day i have made so many calls to the customer care to get this error rectified, the problem could not be resolved though. today on 28th oct 2011 i made aprox 7 to 8 calls & during my last call i asked the executive to give the phone to a senior official or a team leader to which the executive replied me that i need to be on hold so that he can transfer the line or help me out & after being on line for 5 to 7 mins the phone was disconnected from the executives end without any response. PATHETIC SERVICE BY VODAFONE even after using the service for a long .. long time.

    Default Callertune & Customer care service of vodafone

    Hi, Iam prasad from hyderabad.Iam using vodafone servic from past 6years.Prepaid service was good.Before 3months,one of the executive from vodafone has called me and explained me regarding postpaid connection tariff plan and its offers.I have clearly told them that iam not interested in any of their plans.Atlast i was convinced by one executive promising me to give free callertune service like there will be only montly rental charges and no downloading charges for unlinited times of changing th callertune.And more he has offered me, V2V-10ps/min and other mobiles 30ps/min as tariff plan.But after activating none of the offer was activated.I have called that executive but no response.No vodafone reprsentative did not solve my problem yet.Now, on 25dec, at 5pm i have activated one song aas my callertune.Within few minutes, i got a m essage from vodafone stating that song has been set as your callertune.But song was not playing.I have called customer care(Sambashiva Rao) to know the issue.they told me to call XXXXXX number to activate certian song.Then also song was not playing.Again when i called, Kumar(Customer care manager), he told that he is sending mail to technical department so that callertune will be activated fwithin 24hrs.Song was not activated till 26dec 9pm.Then i called customer care,Mr.Nazeer has answered and told that to send a message to 111 so that song will be activated in 4hrs.I have done the same.But song was not activated.On 27th dec, at 2pm i have called customer care then Mr.Rajendra has taken my call and told that by evening callertune will be activated at any cost if not you will be getting a call from our side for explaining the reason.now the time is 10:50pm,till the song got not activated and there is no call from their side.
    This is the service which vodafone gives to customer.Atfirst they have cheated me by converting to postpaid and now they are making customers to call agian and again.But they are not giving 100% resolution and they are not sure that when the issue will be resolved also.
    This is worst customer service i have ever seen.They are not at all bothered about the customer feelings at all.
    Vodafone executived will think customers as fools and they will treat customers as dogs.Customers will call and shout.After sometime, they will only calm down.
    Government has to take serious action on this type of companies as they are not fit to do any b ussiness if they are not capable of resolving customers at all and more not caring for th customers.

    my mobile number is 7396454166 ... on 9th of march i have requested a vodafone to activate the caller tune service on this number , i don,t know why it is not been activated ,, the amount of 45 rs is been deducted from my qaccount ... when ever i try to give a complaint to 198 and 111 , i get only reply that it will be activated within next 24 hours or within the end of the day ,,, they are just making fool since from 5 days ,,, i don,t know what is the problem with this bloody vodafone , just going on cheeting people ,,, please take this omplaint seriously or else i am definetely going to make in consumer cout regarding the above matter ...
    not only this , in thye month of feb 2012 , i made a recgarge of 222 with the same number and that is not recharged ,, and also a amount of rs 50 .. if problem are not rectified by tommorow , than definitely i am goinhg to consumer court and raise a serious complaint ,, as soon as you go through this message kindli call me at 7396454166 ... b,coz amount of 222 , 50 and 45 is not a small amount ... i will be waiting for your call by tommorow ..

    Angry complaint against Vodafone Customer Care

    I have been a vodafone customer from Chennai (9962510346). I was using a post paid corporate connection till last year. I then de activated my SIM (Ref: 611019718491).
    I settled all my dues till November through ECS,and my SIM got deactivated.
    But even for December month, my bill was generated and the amount was debited from my account. I had asked the customer care people to check teh records and transfer the money back to my account. But, they have not yet done. I sent them nearly 4- 5 reminders and I just get an automated response from VODOFONE and they dont seem to address the customer's request.
    This is the mail which they had sent on the 6th of Jan.. Its been 3 months, and stuil lthey ahve not yet transfreed my money.
