On March 22, 2005, I purchased a post-paid mobile connection from AirTel through their dealer Cellpage at Gurgaon. I was given a sealed SIM envelope with SIM no. 8991100502051538623. I was told that the number will be activated after address verification, I required this connection because my wife was scheduled to travel from April 8, 2005 onwards to Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka with my three year old child. To ensure their safety and well-being, I needed a mobile connection with roaming facility.
