Dear Sir/Ma'm,
I have a complaint against Tata Indicom.I am from New Delhi and we
have a *Tata
Indicom postpaid landline number* which is *011-65462759.This number is in
the name of my brother whose name is Vikas Murada*. Tata Indicom has a plan
called *Talk India 225*.I called up customer care and they gave me details
of this plan mentioned above.They told me that calling charges for *all
phones(tata and non-tata)* numbers is* Rupee 1/3minutes for local area* and
*Re1/1minute for STD area*.After hearing the plan,I requested the company to
change my plan to Talk India 225 from the old one.After my plan was changed,
the bill came and in the bill, the prices were over-charged for *Re1/1
minute for non-tata landline numbers in local area* and *Re1/3 minute for
non tata mobile numbers in local area*.
*I was given wrong information by the customer care executive of the plan
details as they charged me Re1/1minute for non-tata landine numbers in local
area whereas I was told that calling all numbers in local area whether tata
ot non tata numbers is Re1 for 3 minutes.*

I complained about this to call centre and they filed the complaint.After 2
days,call was received from Tata Indicom that they would reduce the wrong
billed amount by Rupees 350 only.This call was received from my father who
was not aware of the problem caused by the company.My father accepted it.I
got to know about this from my father and I checked the bill details.*I have
the itemised bill* with me and I calculated the amount to be reduced
according to call rates of Re1/3 minutes for non tata landline numbers in
local area.After calculation, the reduction came to Rs 610 instead of Rs 350
told by the company.
I complained again to the company to reduce more amount after my calculation
and I also requested them to charge me according to Re1/3 minute for non
tata landine numbers in local area till the time I request for a plan
conversion and they refused to take my request to reduce more amount and
also charge me Re1/3 minute for non tata landline numbers till the time I
request for a plan conversion.
I want to know the procedure to file a complaint against Tata Indicom for
unfair and fraudulent activities in the consumer court.
