i purchased a mobile sim of idea from New India Electronics (a branch of kings electronics), Panvel Tel 022 2745 3856 on 22 march 2009 and submitted all required documents i] Pan card Xerox ii] Electricity bill Xerox iii] Photo
On first two days the shopkeeper was saying your account will be activated shortly in half an hour but still Its five days gone and mu number is not activated
when I call to Idea customer care of Idea they are way far from customer friendly, Hardly get connected from any other network and idea customer care no 12345 is blocked from my idea mobile, they just keep telling send the documents by courier, If you send mails to their customer care there is only a auto generated response nothing else
And just see the mail receipt from one of their customer care executive amit Bhandari he just send a mail saying that your number is activate without confirming whether it is activated or not

well any way I can submit new documents but the problem is now the retailer Kings Electronics can make misuse of those previous documents submitted for getting connection for any illegal matter like terrorism. What should I do now? and if this document problem is not a issue then why this all security bubble, just to increase inconvenience to customer,
Anyway send the same letter to security officials of india,
Well there is no rule to give receipts for any documents submitted
Simply I am just going to stay away from Idea cellular and Kings Electronics panvel in Future

I had purchased vodafone prepaid sim card with ICCID 8991301104337099210 and mobile number 8017818243 on 2nd week dec(think 11th Dec 2011) I had given my id,address proof and photo, after about 20 days ,mobile service was blocked. when visited vodafone store they told me that the simcard is not on my name, and they told me to ask the sim dealer(FE-41 SECTOR 3,SALT LAKE KOLKATA),i asked dealer about that he told me there is a chance of mistake with distributor or something, than i went to the nearest VODAFONE STORE office and on their advice resubmitted my documents got migrated to post-paid under my name(since i had given in office and many other relative) but i still dont know where my photo and id and address proof went and also i want to know if anyone is illegally using simcard on my id should be blocked immediately.Also please let me know what action can I take.

Thanks for your response.You can contact me at this alternate number(+91-8017270414-colleague's number).My concern is how the sim was activated on someone's else name though I submitted all my documents initially..I visited vodafone store on 5th Jan 2012 and on suggestion of executive there I resubmitted the document and it was said to be transferred under my name(though it is not yet activated till now) with same mobile number and different simcard(ICCID NO 8991300904000063604) as it was made post-paid but under my name.But what about the first set of documents that I provided earlier????..Also when initially simcard with ICCID 8991301104337099210 was activated under someone's else name(I was unaware that time)
,I called customer care so many time for various queries like knowing tariff plan and so called for security reason they asked mobile number and my name.When i replied they never said Id mismatch or something,I came to know only when my mobile number 8017818243 with ICCID 8991301104337099210 was barred(in a month time from the day I was using the sim)
