    Default Airtel prepaid - chennai circle 98403 75912

    Dear Sirs

    I bought a prepaid connection for my wife in the month of dec 2006 from "universal mobile store". I very well remember that the necassary documents were submitted. I clearly remember that the activation was done only the next day after submission of photos. Since then i have moved out of Chennai to Tiruppur on work and my wife has been using this number all the while

    Now after almost 4 years she has been receiving calls that the user identification process failed as the address provided was wrong. She had not taken it seriously at the first instance. One fine day last week the outgoing was barred, When checked with their customer support they could not give any support and asked us to go to Chennai. Surprisingly the name registered is a new name other than mine. I presume there was some error in paper submission which was not under my control.Tiruppur is 450 kms from Chennai, the nearest regional office is in Coimbatore which is another 60 kms from here.

    The most appalling thing is the support provided by the franchisees. It is disheartening to note that these franchisees are primarily only for sales and not for support like my situations.

    Is there any way that i can get this sorted by not running far and long. I travelled to coimbatore on a saturday to only return back that the office was operative till afternoon.

    Would appreciate a solution.

    Hello,

    As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the Airtel Prepaid customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Default Prepaid number deleted without any intimation from airtel

    Respected sir,

    My number is 9566147180. I am using this number for the past one year....i Bought this number on july 09.....But on december 09 my sim card got damaged so i went to purasaiwalkkam airtel showroom to replace my sim card there i was suppose to know that this number not in my name....It was updated with some unknown person name. So at that time i gave my call details, recharge history and my complete id proof and address proof and i bought a duplicate sim card, now on 11th of this month i lost my mobile along with sim card so i went to saidapet airtel store and i again applied for duplicate sim card, At that time again i faced the same problem happened like december 09, so again i gave all my details and i got the sim card but today evening by 4 pm my sim was suspended... i called your customer care and i asked for the reason for suspension they informed me that my number totally vanished from airtel network.....Due to name miss match....So now i want the complete reason and i want my number back.....
    Kindly help me to resolve this problem.....My alternate number is 9710444143.

    Thumbs down Very bad customer services

    i try to call airtel cum care no but call end after recording voice over how i can contect the cum care very bad service if you not able to rectified the cum complaintzs you just close this services very bad service dont misuse the custmers

    Default Worst airtel cust care service-Call disconnecton while transfer

    My number is 9894164647.. I am using airtel for the past 7 yrs. I stay in chennai and I recharged my number through ICICI online as my balance was Rs -9.00. I got a confirmation message from ICICI that the amount is deducted and got the bill for RS 100/. But the amount was not credited to my airtel balance. I called airtel customer care. They told that they will raise a complaint and it will take 72 (3 Days) hours to fix the issue. I told them time for fixing the issue is too much and told them I cant be without calling any one for 3 Days. They transfred me to the manager where again the same was told and she gave me a manager number 9952434865 to call and get the issue fixed.But with Rs -9/ I was not able to call that number which was not toll free.So I again called airtel 198. Call was picked up and they told me theiedannot help me and tranfered the call and the call got disconnected. I again tried call got disconnected.Then again I tried, they tranfered me again I was in hold for 10-15mins which is the worst customer experience I have ever had and I want to acknowledge this to higher level who can take proper action and help me in getting my issue fixed out.

    Angry Worst Customer Service and Response

    This is Iswarya Anup
    ,
    My mobile connection got barred due to address verification , But i have submitted my proof and I dint get my connection still . I called airtel customer care more than 5 times but they dint respond well and went to airtel outlet ( T.Nagar,Chennai ) and had given complaint about my connection but they are not even considering customers well .. Useless executives are playing games in facebook through internet..Hereafter i wont believe in airtel service and there are lot of services which are giving good response to customers with good offers ... am using airtel broadband , now am going to relieve from it and going to give good broadband connection which will have good customer service... "worst service I have ever faced" Wasted lot of money too
