45 days period is really very long but we cannot do any thing now, because we have to follow the TRAI guideline.

Wel i agree that Consumer court has to follow Trai Rules but there is so much to talk abt such a complaint. Trai says that in case if the DNC doesnt get activated in 45 days and if consumer still recieves the call and promo sms even after that, Consumer has to lodge a complaint to the Service provider, collect the complain numbers. well thats even not enough, what a consumer has to do is that he has to attend to all the calls and smses and make a note which number has that come from and what was it regarding. For ex. if i recieve call about some promo saying love meter. I gotta note that thing ans while registering complaint i have to tell all these details along with the date and day on whih i have recieved the call.

This is ridiculous. In first place a consumer is registering DNC for not recieving such calls and now if TRAI demands the above said procedure which means despite not having time to pick up call we have to pick up and record data as if in the whole world what we gotta do is only such a stupid activity.

Well coming to my Prob i have registered for DNC in april 2008... it's matter to laugh that i still recieve their calls and sms...
