    Subject: FW: Airtel Mobile Number Issues ( 9980033114 / 9980033110 )
    Importance: High

    Hello Serena / Malathi,

I’m writing this e-mail to you with the hope for a quick assistance since I’m fed-up of writing to 121 and talking to your recovery team.

Here’s the back ground to support my issues –

    Issue I - Numbers ( 9980044199 / 9980044177 ) –

When I landed in Bangalore back in year 2007, I took the following number 9980044199 / 9980044177 and had surrendered the following number on 28/03/09 by making the full and final payment at the Kormangala Outlet but for some reason the same number were not deactivated for a duration of 2+ months and Airtel adjusted my deposit for the extended months against the monthly rent. Ideally the numbers should have been deactivated immediately and the entire deposit should have been returned back to me.

    Issue II - Numbers ( 9980033114 / 9980033110 ) –

These numbers were taken after I surrendered the above mentioned number and they were issued on Microsoft CUG Plan according to which I should have received 10% discount on every bill but never received the same for the duration I held these numbers in spite of logging multiple complaints with 121 and hence after receiving such a hopeless service I had to forcefully stop the numbers by not making the payments for the last bill.

When I started receiving calls from the recovery agencies I tried explaining them the same issue and they failed to help me as well and stated a very political comment “Sir, this was a false commitment made to you by the agent who sold the numbers to you” but I know they were lying since all the colleagues using Airtel numbers were getting the discounts and I verified with my company HR as well. Since the recovery teams and other channels continued failing to help me, I did not made any payments for these numbers and hence to add on to the trouble Airtel has now barred outgoing on one of my recently acquired number – 9972337701.

Would request you to kindly get the services activated on this new number 9972337701 and let me know the outstanding to be paid for the previous numbers ( 9980033114 / 9980033110 ) after adjusting the discounts from the all 4 numbers mentioned above.

Your response with the correct resolution to my issues would be my last hope from Airtel else I would be forced to discard all services without making any payments and switch to other Service Providers, in spite of being an Airtel customer for the last 7 years.

    Hello Arun,

As per telephonic conversation yesterday, mentioned below are a few pain points regarding my current and previously registered Airtel Post-paid Mobile Numbers.

    Old Numbers ( 9980044199 / 9980044177 ) –
I have surrendered the following number ( 9980044199 / 9980044177 ) on 28/03/09 after clearing the outstanding but can still see the numbers as active via my online login account on “Airtel.in”.
Can you make sure these numbers are deactivated along with my login accounts, cause I fail to register my new number because of this.

    New Numbers ( 9980033114 / 9980033110 ) –
Correction 1 – Activate 10% discount on the overall bill as per the Microsoft Plan.

Correction 2 – Get my name corrected for both the number, the name has to be “Anup Singh Ahuja”

Correction 3 – Get the billing address changed to my residence address –

I also see that the new number which I have taken ( 9980033114 / 9980033110 ) are registered to a company name “ICE Network Pvt Ltd” and the “My Airtel” login id is “sathi.ice”.

Billing Address Name ICE Network Pvt Ltd Address No 647/10 Brindavan Complex, Dr Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar City Bangalore State Karnataka Pin Code 560010 Country India

I simply fail to understand what sort of security measures are adopted by Airtel to secure the user information. How come the number being provided to me is still registered to the old user ?

Hope you would be able to find a quick fix for all this. Many thanks for your assistance.

Default making false promises...and worst service

Hello, It is bad to hear that airtel making false promises and services. I think most of the peoples attracted towards airtel were the good customer services and offers you people given, but now a days it is becoming worst and worst. When I took my Sim it had written like I will get charged only /second 1 paise basis to any mobile. After some days I recognized that it is only to airtel mobiles they made the promise and to other mobiles it is charging differently. I had a talk with your customer service executive and he told they will take care of this and soon will have a contact, but I forced to call a guy after 1 week and according to him the promise made was only to airtel mobiles. There are so many other areas you people charging customers with out there knowledge. I have experienced this a lot and when going to complaint with your customer care executives they do not know how to handle this , either will give some other numbers to contact or some false responses. I think it is not the proper way to deal with customers as you all know there are other services with good offers which alluring peoples a lot, but it is the trust with airtel brand to stay long. Do not throw this belief from customers, otherwise people will go for good service.
