Default Vodafone cheated & lied to me

    Dear All,
I am using a postpaid vodafone number from last 6 months & i am very regular about paying bills on time. Yesterday 06 May, 2010 vodafone (okhla office) called me to give me another postpaid connection with some benefits, first i denied but this guy (named: Gurmeet- 9999296238) forced me to accept his offer, then his senior (Taushik Khan- 9958504654) called me & tried to convince me on this. He promise me to take care of my both vodafone numbers by himself. He also promised me that if i dont like the plan i can disconnect the new number at any time & my Rs.250 security will be refunded at the same time. I agreed on it. Then after 1 hour their field boy came to collect the document & cash. He gave me a blank SIM card & said that Vodafone would call me to select your new number. He left & kept me waiting their call. After 2 hours, I called Mr. Taushik about this problem, he again promised me that number bank will call me for number selection. Now, one day past & i am still waiting for the call from Vodafone number bank.
    Now my situation is:
    -I paid Rs.250
    -Gave all my documents
-Got the blank SIM card (60010247943) without number
Right now I am in a total loss situation. I called Mr Taushik Khan today morning, his mother picked the phone & said that he is not at home & his name is Yusuf not Taushik & he worked in Vodafone.
I also called Mr. Gurmeet & he is not picking up the phone.

I am asking why this companies has given so much freedom to cheat people like this, why dont they make consumer to have proof of everything like telephone conversation or a official mail.

To make people believe in law & order, I think some stringent steps needs to be taken

I am attaching my Rs.250 receipt & CAF form.

    Thank you,

    Arun Kumar
