I had purchased two prepaid cards from Idea.:
1) 9921176726
2)9921175686

I have submitted my required documents twice, but still my service is not started, and worst is 1st number is assinged to some customer in pune, and 2nd one is not active. I have submitted documents for both numbers same time and that to twice.

2nd number is temporaily blocked , I am not getting if I have purchased two numbers at same time and submitted documents same time twice, why one is transfed to other customer, and one is temporaily out of service.

And they are asking me to recharge both numbers to get activation.....???????

No response from customer care, niether from Idea care franchise..

How is it possible that you personally stated to me that several copies of my documents are confirmed in the possession of IDEA? That out of the 4 sets of documents submitted to IDEA and checked by IDEA and approved by IDEA at least one complete and fully correct set of documents is in your possession. This was verified by you telephonically and as can be seen lower down in this email dated 1 May 2010. Several discussions took place between us with the assurance that this matter will never arise again. Now YOU are stating that I must do all of this again! YOU the same person who assured me in writing? This is a matter that has been back and forth between IDEA and myself since February of this year!! Please address this matter with the utmost of urgency.@

I am idea pre paid subscriber. On 12.10.2010 I have paid Rs.250/- for converting my plan to post paid and submitted necessary papers. For verification of address the person did not came on the day it was intimated. He came next day when no one was at home. He kept message to contact him and then he will come. After contacting in the evening he said he will come tomorrow. He came, but he was not having the copies of papers. He simply wrote on one blank form and said he will submit it to the office.

Today is 3-20.10.2010. From 13.10.2010 onwards daily I am contacting with your Kolhapur Tarabai Park Office. The concerned lady is giving false assurances every time that it will start/activate by evening. All my efforts are fruitless. Your Kolhapur office staff is so careless that word customer care is having no meaning. I have paid Rs.250 for postpaid and my bill will start from 12.10.2010 evenafter 9 days have passed and my phone is not active. I will not pay bill from 12.10.2010 but only after the date of activation of my phone.

I the undersign had purchased Idea data card in 1st Quarter'2010. My mobile number for the same is 9594072064. Since the purchase of the same I had been facing Internet low speed issue and most of the times it did'nt connect either. I made multiple complaints but did not get resolution. I was getting billed without using the service. I did'nt get any response and resolution to the issue and finally i stopped following up with them and stopped using the service. I started getting collection calls and I really got frustrated and wanted to get rid of this as soon as possible. I asked the collection agency to send someone at my residence who could collect the payment and take disconnection request from me. A guy named "Sandip" from collection agency came at my residence on 20th Aug'10 who took a cheque of Rs.688/- (Gave me receipt no.59004 against this payment) from me and made me fill a disconnection request form and said that this was full and final settlement and the service would get disconnected then. Sandip apparently did'nt do his job well and my service was not disconnected. Again after 2 months i started getting rude collection calls who ask me to make a payment again.
I visited the Mira Bhayendar road Idea Gallery and the staff there are making me loiter and just say that we have sent a dispute mail to area manager- Dimple who has not responded as yet. Today when I visited them again the executive at the Gallery says that she does'nt think that they will waive off that money and at the end I will have to pay them again which was most frustrating to hear after me doing so many follow ups.
My question is that why should I pay Idea again because their executive Sandip did not do his job well and did not ensure that my number was not disconnected after I gave the request to him. All I need is a complete waive off of the amount reflecting on the above mentioned number along with the closure of this number so that after couple of months I don't get the collection calls again. I also need a compensation for Harassing me throughout with the collection calls along with a written apology from Idea Cellular for this pathetic customer service.
In this duration I have seen the most pathetic customer service from Idea and would not recommend Idea to anyone in future.
