I have registered for DND in 2007 and my registration number is F1002021406. I am still constantly receiving promotional SMS on this number.I am also receiving calls from some insurance companies like Reliance LIC and others.

Please take action against such callers and ad promoters.

I am already registered for "Do not disturb" with NDNC on 23/11/2008. My mobile no. is 9004136497. Now I am getting unsolicited sms daily 5 to 6 times from 56660. I tried to lodge complaint on Airtel's Do not disturb website but it is not accepting the date which is one day old. It says date should be current or past. When I am entering the past date how can it give this message. I tried many times but of no use. Has Airtel deliberately blocked the complaint site?

Airtel must stop this nonsense with immediate effect.

I have an airtel pre paid-connection.every day iam receiving lots of promotional and advertising messages/calls which are quite disturbing when you've not asked for them. I am receiving around 5-6 such messages/calls every day with the sender's title as mentioned below.
TM,DM,AD,TD,etc.
i called airtel's customer care and requested for do not disturb service in the month of nov 2010. customer care executive registered my complaint and asked for 45 days acivation period. i waited as per the period mentioned by them but when it didn't get solved i again called and told them that iam still receiving such messages and calls. they asked i should note all senders no.s and tell them so that they can block the sender but is not possible for me to note all everyday . till today dated 21-10-2010 iam receiving all such unwanted messages and calls. and no action been taken by airtel even after so many days days of registering do not disturb services.

Such unwanted call and messages are quite harassing and also at times contain virus that can be hazardous to the mobiles. there are many company's who buy personal mobile no. from mobile companies and use them for their promotions, loans, credit cards etc.
i believe any ones mobile no. is very personal and selling such no.without users consent should be a punishable act. please help by considering my complaint as soon as possible so that such kind of acts can be stopped and mobile service provider should understand the privacy of it's clients and consumers.
