    Default Complaint regarding DND Services

    Hi Everyone,
    I need some Guidance/Advice from anyone regarding my DND service.
    In Jan 2008 i had register for DND with Vodafone which was activated in a few days.
    In Jan 2009 i started Receiving Promotional SMSes from Telemarketeers.
    After calling Vodafone Customer Care i was told my service was inactive and i had to register again.
    On Jan 27th 2009 i registered again with Vodafone for DND and the service was active in march 2009.
    Now in March 2010 i am receiving yet again Promotional SMSes & some telemarketing calls.
    Once again after calling vodafone i was told my service was not active.
    The reason given this time was i MIGRATED FROM PREPAID TO POSTPAID.
    I was told to register again & wait for 45 days.
    I fail to understand that my number is same, service provider is same so then why should i register again.
    I checked at TRAI's Website & found that only if the number is cancelled & reactivated or if the servive provider is changed then only one has to register again for the service.
    On the same there is a link to NDNC REGISTRY.
    When i clicked on the link there was a DND REGISTRATION CHECK Link.
    When i checked my number on the 16-3-2010 my number was registered in NDNC REGISTRY DATABASE.
    So i mailed back to Vodafone Customer care about this fact.
    Now on 21-3-2010 when i checked again on the site it shows my number is not registered.
    I HAVE ALL SERVICE ACTIVE CONFIRMATION SMS SAVE WITH ME & ALSO THE PRINTOUT TAKEN ON 16-3-2010 ABOUT MY NUMBER BEING REGISTERED ON THE NDNC REGISTRY DATABASE FROM THE WEBSITE.
    NOW MY QUESTION TO EVERYONE IS BASED ON THE FACTS WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS.
    I WAS THINKING ABOUT FILING A RTI AGAINST MY NUMBER MISSING FROM THE DATABASE WITHOUT MY CONSENT.
    IS THERE A RULE FOR THE SERVICE TO BE ACTIVATED AGAIN FOR A MIGRATION FROM PREPAID TO POSTPAID.
    HOPING TO GET GUIDANCE/ADVICE FROM anyone reading this post.

    Hello,

    I have an Airtel number.
    I had registered for DND service in 2007, still i get 20-30 promotional sms a day.
    I have made several complaints to Airtel but i dont think they can act on it

    I m holding a number 9898614229 on 3rd sep suddenly i got a msg ur sim is not register me called at costomer care than they told me to summit this card can new card from airtel office and summit new document also me done that also after when my card was not activate me called tat retail out let guy he told me i m not getting the reason bt this number ll not start again after tat when me called costomer care they were not respoding at last when i got contact of my keyur kedia .. noidal officer he gave me the reason ur number is cancel by dnd when i search everywhere my number is not cancel by dnd n if it cancel by them they use to give one notice or ask for penalty ... they hv not done such think ... without noticefication ... or hint they cancel my number because of tat me loose so many business deal ...

    Default About dnd deactivation

    Dear owner, my mobil number is 9909852300 and i have asked my service provider to deactivate my dnd service. Nd in reply when i had a talk wid them they told me that you have already been deactivated but when i checked through the dnd registration data base i found that my number stil exist in the dnd registry base. I am unable to get any of mesages eventhoug i have been deactivated . Please help me. And tel me why number stil exist in dnd reg database even i have been deregisterd . Please help me nd guide me because i want to deactivate my dnd service. So i have been waiting for your warm reply you can Mail your reply on my id mohbagwala@gmail.com.Thank you

    DND regarding complain


    This is RAJEEB DUTTA & my Mobile No is 9263812745, I am raised a complain to TATA Indicom C. Care.
    Complain is” DND is active in my no. Till I previous 2 or 3 months, but continuously I get a promotional Calls & Sms.

    But I am not getting my complaint resolution, I am continuously getting call, one no is 011066416950, & without inform me my DND service is deactivated to their side.

    They are called so many times & told me, your problem is solved but my problem is as it is.

    So pleas cheek this & solve my problem.

    Default some body send me sms after registering dnd

    company using name ORBIT send me sms by using no. 242...238...252...9833800288 after i registered with dnd but company send me sms continue. pl. take action against such company. why such company send me sms? why company using the above no.?i received message 28/10/2011 18.35PM. pl. take legal action against such company which using the above no.

    Default Getting promotionl calls even after activating DND services

    Sir,

    My mobile number is +91 9830352837, which is registered under DND services.

    Still i am getting promotional calls from Telecom service providers.

    A similar call that i received at appx 12:50 on 29.10.2011 was from number +91 9007874617.

    Request you to look into the matter as some action is very much required against these kind of groups who does not take the initiatives taken by TRAI or Govt regulations.

    Respected sir,
    i am rahul kumar frm IIT Delhi. DND is working on my mobile with mobile no. 9711774405 (vodafone) still advertisement message come from 8595368634.

    pl. take action against such company. why such company send me sms? last time i received message 1/11/2011 12.35PM. pl. take legal action against such company which using the above no.

    Default Continueous SMSs From Jyotish

    I am holding Airtel mobile no. & inspite of having my no. registered in DND regestry, I get promotional calls & SMSs regulerly. Since yesterday I am getting contiueous SMSs with sender name as Jyotish (with no number mentioned) asking to call at 0120-4070500 & from Vedic again asking to call 0120-4110100.
    I got at least 10 same SMSs yesterday. Can anyone please guide how to take action against such companies?

    Recently I got myself registered with DND unknowingly. As i am having certain groups on google sms channels I am not able to get any of the messages from the members. When I called my videocon customer care he said I have to wait for 3 months for deactivate the DND. Is really I had to wait 3 months for that. If anyone having the solution for alternative for that please reply to this post. I am really worried about my members at google sms channels.
