November 2009, I requested Airtel to disconnect my landline connection since I was shifted out from my rented house in Gurgaon. I got a call from airtel and was told that if I deposit INR 700, all dues will be clear, and the phone will be disconnected. I made the payment. I was told everything is done at my end.

Next month on, I again started getting bills. I complained to customer service, and was told that it will be taken care of. Now on Saturday, March 20, at about 12:15pm around noon time, I have received a phone call from Airtel customer care department from the phone number 011-45061754, in which me and my family were threatened. The person was very abusive and used overtones of reaching mothers and sisters.

I wish to know how I can revert against this harassment and extortion.
