As per telephonic discussion with staff fom nodal officer’s office, herewith I am requesting you to give written description of terms & condition under which Idea Cellular Ltd. Reserves the right to discontinue any prepaid mobile number’s services, with details like, Minimum Recharge Condition, No Incoming or Outgoing call during certain time period, and if there is such a specific time period please mention from which date this rule has been effected, but please mention it clearly.

Here I would like to describe my case for your reference; point out in that case where I was going wrong.

I was user of your post-paid mobile connection with mobile no. XXXXXXXXXX since last 3 years (approx), I converted it from postpaid to prepaid on 24/11/2009 means this is activation date as prepaid. I came to know from your customer care division and area manager that my card has been discontinued from 18/01/2010 means deactivation by Idea Cellular Ltd. in only 55 Days, as Idea Cellular Ltd. Has described prepaid rules on web site , if a life time validity prepaid customer fails to remain active on network continuous for 3 months (90 days) Idea Cellular Ltd. reserves right to discontinue his/her service. But I was shocked when I came to know that on day no. 82 (14/02/2010) it has been activated for another party (customer) by Idea cellular ltd. Franchisee manager shows me prepaid form and ask me to read rules, I read rules but in that they had written that lifetime validity customer unable to remain active on network for six continuous months then Idea Cellular Reserves right terminate its service, I saw it to manager he shamed on him self and said I has also not read rules then also they says rules is only for 30 days.

Now I want to know that why and under which rules Idea has discontinued my services from 18/01/2010, and allotted my cellular number to another person from 14/02/2010.

And what will be the procedure to get that number back, customer case staff says that there is no way to get that number back because person is using that number, and my argument is that number is more important to me because I was using that number since last 3 years, It is being widely used for my communication, and I feel that I have not broken rules & regulations.
