I have purchased Airtel Prepaid connection ( 95660 28306) from Subhashini Enterprises, in Station Road of Kodambakkam, Chennai on 19 Jan of 2010. On 4th Feb my number is blocked and the reason is my Documents are not submitted by the Retailer.

When i enquire the retailer, he says, he has submitted them all to Airtel and he promised me my number will work next day. As he said my number started working from next day. So i thought the problem is solved. i was using my phone for all outgoing and incoming calls without any issues.

But suddenly from 26th Feb ,my number is blocked without any information. When i ask the Airtel relation ship Centre, they say my number is deactivated and i cannot get it again. Subhashini enterprises says he cant do anything and it is airtel's mistake. Airtel Says, my number is deactivated because my documents are not satisfactory and according to them my number is blocked from 4th feb onwards.

Written mails to customer care doesnot respond with the action plan.

If my number is blocked from 4th Feb as per Airtel's records,
1) then how it was working till 25th Feb?
2) i have done a top up for 400 Rs on 24th Feb, How it was possible to do the topup for the number not working.
3) Customer care number is 9840198401 if i call from other mobile numbers. But there is no way to talk to the customer care person using this. then how can we contact using other mobile numbers.

No body is able to answer and the response is also very poor. My calls to Customer care from the Relation ship centres is getting transfered to many people for nearly 30 mins and it will get cut finally.

So there is no one to take any responsiblity in such a big company....

I feel just to get money, they are issuing connections and disconnecting it without any reason. But to earn money there are so many ways but what they are doing now is not a justice.

In this situation what should i do now. How to get back my number or the amount i lost ?

only after visiting this web site, i found there are so many complaints against Airtel, for which they must feel very shame.

Also i found some complaints on other service providers, for which the actions are taken and replied promptly by the concerned mobile companies. But from Airtel, there is no such response . thats why they say they are number one in industry.
