    Angry Airtel post paid bill cancellation problem

    Respected Sir,

    This is similar or exactly the same problem posted by ak20singh99 on 11-15-2009

    I cancelled my airtel postpaid account my number 9791034282 on May 28th 2009 by making a personal appearance at Airtel Annanagar branc hoffice , chennai and making thecancellation request. I also paid the charges whatever they asked to pay through my card. And the staff there said that in 3 days the account will be deactivated. And on June 1st i left to USA.

    But after 2 months in the number that i had given for contact which happened to be my relative they called and asked for pending payments, which they gave proper response that the connection was cancelled and the person has travelled to USA.

    They again got such calls 2-3 times.

    Now today they got a call from advocate office about the pending payments. Kindly justify this, if i took the effort of making the necessary payment personally by going to their office and requested for cancellation and they also assured the account will be deactivated but instead of that they keep calling others and they disturb them a lot.

    Kindly need justice on such activities.

    Have you the cancellation receipt and the last paid bill.
