Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been registered on DND since 21/08/2008 Registeration no: F1006085869. I have been getting promotional 4-5 SMS every day primarily from real estate. I am also getting it from DIETHELP, IOTA POWER SAVER, DNAinfoline etc. I had registered complaint with AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE but they came back saying that the telemarketer belongs to another operator's network and my request has been forwarded, but i am still receiving promo sms, infact they have now increased even more. If AIRTEL cannot stop this then who can?
Please do the needful at the earliest.

I currently have an Airtel number. I have been registered fwith NDNC since 06/03/08 and reference number is S1003693934. Yet I get the SMS and calls. Recently I have received call from Reliance from Delhi. The number is 11-43126500. When I told them I would complain the Customer Care back answered saying that I should go ahead and complain as soon as possible.
I Want to you to take strict action against it.

I am using BSNL Cellone number 9422008666. And i had already activated DND services but I am getting messages and calls in frequent manner. I am very puzzeled that no action has been taken from my service provider(BSNL).

I want to register a case against BSNL,i have also filed a complaint also regarding the same in customer care,told me that there will be no calls within 2-3 days,but still i am gettng calls..


Please inform what to do to lodge a case against my provider since i had activated DND and my daily work schedule is affected due to these.....

Hi, I am a Vodafone user and have the DND activated for my number. In spite of that I receive calls and SMSes every day for promotional activities.

I registered a complaint with Vodafone on 13th Feb 2010 and gave them the details. O was sent a reply on 9th March saying they were still resolving the complaint.

I have now been told that they have requested that particular number not to call back. My question to them about what happens if others call has a very stupid answer to let Vodafone know each time I receive a promotional call/ sms and they will call them up to remove my name and revert within 21 working days.

Is DND in India supposed to be double trouble, i first receive a call then i make a call every time to stop the same , or is it a more proactive system. Are there any legal bindings to catch the caller and sue them.

I am getting unwanted Promotional sms continiously from a number +919376330194 on my BSNL number 9448790572.

I want to lodge a complaint against the company which is send some stock market sms's...

I am also an Airtel subscriber and have been facing the same problem. I had registered for DND around two years ago, made at least 3-4 verbal complaints and two written complaints. Still no proper action is ever taken. They only flood my mobile with messages that my complaint is being looked into and then messages that the telemarketers don't belong to their network. I get an average 5 messages on a daily basis.

I have seen Mr Vinay Chugh's response on the earlier complaint, and I am willing to give this another try.

It seems national DND registry has failed miserably particularly in recent times when I have started receiving unsolicited SMS & TM calls from sundry. I have even logged email complaint(s) with Rcom to their nodal head but to no avail. They have not even replied my mails leave alone taken action on my complaint.

But still we are receiving no. of unwanted SMS, which should be stopped immediately.
Request to make DND activated to the above Mobile connections.

I am continuously getting calls from +911143210909. This number belongs to Time Out India. Despite my request for DND, I am still getting calls from them. Please take necessary action.

With utter disgust I write this. I had registered for the DND for mobile no. 9886721580 service on 7th March with SR1241328476 with Vodafone and was informed that it will take 45 days to stop all these unsolicitated calls and messages. But till today that hasnt stopped and on speaking to its customer care with Mr. Akash was informed that it will take till 25th May 2010 to resolve this issue. I do not understand that why this is still not actioned ?
Its becoming a habit for Vodafone to keep making and breaking promises.
Since the time I have taken this connection in 2006 I have been continously getting these wrong calls, unlimited free personal loans/credit card/club membership calls etc daily and to my utter disgust even after communicating this to the cust care to take it up seriously it has not been attended to seriously.
Now, being very honest, 4 years is enough time and I cant handle this anymore and was informed that it will take time till 25th May 2010 for sure.
Pls note that complaint no. SR1245815426 registered today with Vodafone and I want immediate action to be taken.

My mobile number 9831833380(Airtel Kolkata) is already in DND list.But I am getting some unwanted calls from TATA AIG for last few days.

I said them every time that I do not need TATA AIG at this time but they are calling again and again.

They are calling from the following numbers :

So can you tell me what is DND.I do not have any subscription service enabled for TATA AIG.So why this?
