Airtel's Payment collection Methodology - Harassment Route - Shameful Dear Sir,
I was using an Airtel No. 9731611331 which I have surrendered by email request to airtel from my company corporate Administrator on 06.12.2009.
The same account has been closed. Refer the attached mail.
The bill has my residential address, also by mail ID and my company working
address. No one has approached for the final bill balance on this account
9731611331 till date nor called. But someone from your office has got my
below lawyers name and has called with a fake identity as courier person,
also to many of my friends. I have a list of numbers where all they have
called. When I called back after getting this information also they
mis-lead me as a courier personnel. Yesterday, I happened to go the the
Police station and I got to know that the gentlemen is from Airtel. Today again they have called one more friend of mine to take my details.
I am still a Airtel high end user customer with one another number +919972955220. The Airtel number +919731611331 which I surrendered on 6th December has my company mail ID, my telephone numbers and the bill has my residential billing address. Inspite of all theseinformations, Airtel representatives are not coming forward to take payment directly, and using this Harassment modus by calling all numbers from my list and are leaving a wrong impression in the circle.
I am hereby furnishing the numbers from where they have called to different
people whom I know:
1. +919945196667 - Did not like to give his identity.
2. 08040848711 - No Identity.
3. +919901092349 - Mr. Vinay.
Please be noted that if payments have to be collected, they
should approach at the addresses furnished not by calling anonymously and
misleading. This act of Airtel is not entertainable. This is a pure harassment to Customer and reputation of one individual.
I have undergone high blood pressure during last two days to know what is going wrong. It has disturbed me mentally.
As a Customer I demand for an Apology Letter from Airtel on account of this
modus opernadi, which Airtel has adopted for collection of Payments by
calling anonymously and harrasing and using goondaism. Also to suspend such employees. They have all the contacts and they could have approached in the right manner.
I hereby approach the Consumer Court for further directives.

This is a shameful act on account of Airtel.
