I am Abhishek Varma, Advocate, I received a message that Cricket Pack has been activated on your number which was not demanded by me. It was written that to unsubscribe reply with the same no. The request was sent the same day to deactivate as i had no interest with the cricket. even then from the next day the pack was activated and balance was started deducting @ Rs. 5/- per day. I made a complaint to the helpline number 4444 on 18/03/2010 at 9:16 p.m. to one Vishal who promised that the same will be deactivated within 6 hours and the balance deducted will be returned to you within 12 hrs. Complaint no. which was given to me by him was 13636002915. Two messages were sent to me by him in this concern which reads as under:-
"Message No. 1 - Dear Customer, your concern for incorrect deduction is under process and would be actioned within 12 Hrs 0 Min SR No. 1-3636002915. Thank you."
"Message No. 2 - Dear Customer, your concern for VAS Act/deact is under process vide SR 1-3635417493 and would be actioned by 6 Hrs 0 Min. Thank you."
After 2 days i.e. on 20.03.2010 at 9:20 am., i again called up 4444 to check the status of my complaint, one jai picked up the phone and said that wait till 10 am and the complaint will be resolved. On the same day when no solution was provided, i again called up at 11:27 am, one gyan prakash took my call but instead of providing any satisfactory reply, he disconnected the phone without even listening to what I was saying. I again called up at 11:29 am and one salma picked the phone to whom i requested that i wish to talk to some senior person. My call was then transferred to one Nitin Sharma (Supervisor) who apologized for the conduct of gyan prakash and promised that till 22.03.2010 (monday), your complaint will be resolved and cricket pack will be deactivated as well as your amount which is till date deducted will be refunded. On 22.03.2010, i again called up 4444 and one Ashutosh talked to me who in turn once again said that wait for 24 hrs. only then your complaint will be resolved.
I have been harassed for no fault on my part. My balance is deducted for Rs. 5/- per day even after making a complaint and the cricket related messages are being sent to me even in the odd hours which are of no use to me. if this is the attitude of the company towards the subscriber, then i am sorry to say that the customer support no. 4444 is of no use as these people on phone are in a habit to just make false promises and to transfer the liability to others.
So it is my kind request that please consider my complaint against IDEA for
the harassment they are doing with me.
