Relaince Mobile - deficiency in services i was having a reliance infocomm CDMA connection since Nov 2003 in
visakhapatnam. from the very beginning there were problems like
wrong billing, non delivery of bills, etc for which i had put up
complaints directly or in their websites. however i continued paying
all bills well in time. in sep 05 my phone suddenly was blocked. on
enquiring through the customer care i was told that the no had been
changed to a chennai no and i would require to reactivate the phone.
this came to me as a shock as i hadnt asked for a change of no.
anyway, i reactivated the phone. within two days again the same
problem occured, and i had to reactivate again to get my second new
no within two days. the webworld was clueless about the problem. my
email to the company was replied saying the problem had been fixed
and i had been spoken to by the company (both of which were lies as
neither the problem was fixed nor anyone had called). i gave a
written complaint to the reliance webworld stating the problem and
asking for compensation. the letter was received by the webworld,
but till date i have not received any reply. as if this was not
enough, my rental plan scheme was changed in oct 05, once again
without any request from my side.
as i am too busy in my work i didnt have time to file a case. so i
didnt pay the bills of the last two months and changed over to
another operator, fed up with reliance.
now relaince has sent me a notice from their lawyer asking me to
make payment of the dues or they will file a civil/criminal case
against me.
what should i do?
will be greatful if the esteemed members here can give me any
suggestion.
