Airtel Sim Card Registration failed 9890335583 Prepaid (Maharashtra & Goa) Nagpur Dear Sir,
My airtel sim had stopped working from 4th of November. It had lifetime validity and is working till 4th of nov.
On 4th of nov. it just stopped working and the mobile status shown SIM CARD REGISTERATION FAILED.
It is my primary no. for the last 4 years. All my contacts are on it and it is infact used on 4th afternoon before the registration failed.
I visited the airtel customer care office, Ravi nagar Branch, Nagpur, there was told to call 999 from their help desk phone. The person who received my call said the no. is active and ay be my sim card got scratched or worn out so please purchase a duplicate card from there.
The Ravi nagar Branch didn't have the sim card available with them so they told me to visit the yeshwant stadium branch, Nagpur i.e Shivanee Infotech (Airtel Costumer Care Center). I visited them and got a duplicate card from them after filling the required forms. They told me the card will be activated by evening. It has not activated till date. I visited the yeshwant stadium center the next day and called 999 from there and the receiver told me that my mobile number has been deleted from their list and they cannot activate the no. as it is not used for long.
I have also emailed 123 customer care of airtel they also give the same reason. Then I have written email to the nodal officer (maharashtra & Goa) reply is still awaited (02 Dec 2009).
What of the loss I had incurred as all my clients have that no?
But I have made and received calls the same day, and also the previous days.
How can the number be deleted?
Please activate my sim.

Problem Date: 28th JAN 2010.
Problem: i am regular Hellotune user and my hellotune service was already active when i checked my balance there was 9.10 and a promo (Dial number Copy Hellotunes 9975579917 9987770111 (muft) )) i dial this number and press * but after 15 minutes my balance was -20.90 i called on 121 with mr.Dhaval on 28th JAN 2010. 11:00 PM he told me this are right charges as per this promo u will get song charge free but we charged you monthly rental Rs.30. I also told him i am exsisting Hello tune user my rental was already deducted for this month he said no as per the Promo this is right and he disconnceted the call 2nd call i spoke with Yagnesh 11:30 PM he told me this is airtel promo i cant do anything for you i told him this promos are totally wrong then i spoke with his supervisor Rajesh he told me he is ready to give me reversal of 30.00 due to wrongly charged but 20 hours past nothing is happend this is the service of Airtel and These promos are Totally mindblowing. Why they are not mentioned there what are the real charges they are applying us just (muft) is meaningless so i want answer if my this Query ASAP u will stop this kind of Promos or give me reversal other wise Remove the Cstmr care (charges 3 Minutes 0.50/- paise) ????????????????

Airtel Prepaid "Invalid SIM" Error Hi,
I brought a new Airtel Prepaid connection on 30 March 2010 and my no. is 9008224864, I have submitted my Airtel landline bill, PAN card and 1 Passport photo. Now after a week the prepaid number stopped working and I can see its saying Invalid SIM. I went to the Airtel Shop from where I brought the SIM card, they are saying your varification got failed. Can you please look into this and do the needful.

Hi,
On 9th of Apl 2010 friday to still, I was not able use my airtel connection. Its showing SIM CARD REGISRATION FAILED. I was used this number with another phone long back (SONY ERICSON). It's worked normally. When I have changed this SIM with another mobile (NOKIA-2600) I was in trouble. Why I am getting this error? Could you please help me regarding this issue.

Sim Card registration failed. Hi, This is srikanth Kosuri and my number is 9096798903 and one day it is displayed as Sim card registration failed. I contacted Airtel customer care in hadapsar and they informed that need to submit the documents. I submitted the documents and still not activated. I contacted 999 and they informed me that my number is deleted. How come it will ? I wrote to nodal office and they forwarded to Jaya.trevedi@airtel.in. I received the a automated reply. No proper response. That is my permanent number please do needful in this regard.
