    Default complaint regarding airtel black berry service

    SIR/ MAM,

    SUB:-REGARDING ACTIVATION OF BLACKBERRY SERVICE.\

    REF:- MOBILE NO:- 0966215233(PREPAID NO IN THE NAME OF AAKASH A BAJAJ)


    I HAVE BOUGHT AN AIRTEL BLACKBERRY PHONE MODEL NO. 8520 BEFORE 25 DAYS.

    IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 25 DAYS BUT THE BLACK BERRY SERVICE ARE NOT YET ACTIVATED

    I AM CALLING IN the CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT REGULARLY BUT THEY SAY THEY HAVE NO UPDATES REGARDING THE ISSUE.

    THE CONTACT NOS RECD FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE OF THE NODAL OFFICERS AND THE APPELLATE OFFICER IS BUSY 24 HRS. they ALL ARE ACTING LIKE THEIVES.

    IT FEELS THAT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED,

    WITHOUT THE BLACKBERRY SERVICES THE BLACKBERRY PHONE IS OF NO USE,

    ITS THE EXTREME OF PATIENCE,

    EVERY EXECUTIVE OF airtel GIVE FALSE COMMITMENTS AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY SATISFACTORY REPLIES.

    BEING SUCH A BIG COMPANY HAVIN A BASE OF THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMER AND GIVING SUCH EXCUSES IS ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS AND SHAMELESS.

    AT THE TIME OF BUYING THE PHONE I WAS INFORMED THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATE WITIHIN 5 MINUTES, BT IT HAS BEEN MORE THN 25 DAYS AND YET YOU DONT HAVE ANY FIX TIME PERIOD THT UPTIL WHN THIS ISSUE WILL BE SOLVED.

    I DONT UNDERSTAND WHT KIND OF WORK YOU ALL DO.

    they should APPOINT SOME GOOD CLASS OF TECHNICIANS..........

    IF YOU CANT PROVIDE PROPER SERVICES YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE INTRODUCED SUCH PHONES.

    I HAD A BALANCE OF RS 1300.00(APPROX) IN MY ACCOUNT FROM WHICH MORE THAN RS 200.00(APPROX) HAS BEEN WASTED JUST CALLING YOUR BLACK BERRY SERVICE DEPARTMENT. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE ANY TOLL FREE NO.

    WHO WILL COMPENSATE THIS LOSS.

    FURTHER IF NOT JUST TAKE BACK YOUR PHONES FROM THE MARKET AND RETURN OUR MONEY BACK.

    AIRTEL IS HOPELESS AND SO ARE THE NODAL AND APPELATE OFFICERS ( I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY AIRTEL PROVIDES SALARY TO SUCH USELESS PEOPLE.)

    Default have been facing the same problem since a week

    was earlier using my blackberry on vodafone postpaid...but since i had to move from my hometown to another city (i'm a student) i decided to use my bb on a prepaid no. Before getting my airtel prepaid connection activated, i deactivated my blackberry service on my vodafone postpaid no. (which was on roaming)....this was a BIG mistake on my part as Vodafone with excellent service on my Postpaid no. frm Lucknow (which is my hometown)...i then got an airtel prepaid here in pune and its been almost a week since i've been trying to activate BIS plan 899 on my airtel prepaid...the airtel customer care is HIGHLY INEFFICIENT....signals are poor and even small things like SMSs are being delivered extremely late... i'm eagerly waiting for my Blackberry Internet Services to get activated on my blackberry. I'm absolutely fed up...feel so cheated and helpless as i've already distributed my airtel prepaid no to all my friends and family and it would be difficult for me to switch to another operator again....the ONLY reason i got airtel was because i "supposedly" could use my blackberry services on prepaid...however thats not happening and am feeling really helpless, disappointed and cheated!!!!!!!!!!

    Default Not getting incoming call sound on 9530 hand set..

    Hi,
    This is vikram.. 3 months back I have bought unlocked version of blackberry storm 9530 handset..I am using Airtel Network..
    I am not getting incoming call sound through handset option..I am able to hear sound if I switch on spearker and through ear phones but
    through hand set I am not getting sound..I am able to play video and audio files in hand set..I dont know what is the problem??
    can any one help me regarding this..I got few customer center numbers but I didn't get any help..
    Please help me regrding this...

    Default Prepaid Blackberry Airtel is a waste of money and time.

    Hello Sir,

    Whoever you are at Airtel because i have been in touch with your customer care department for over 2 and half months with no resolution. I am disgusted by your response on the prepaid customer using Black Berry and its related services.
    At once they also claimed that we will be supplied with BB services free of cost to compensate for the loss, i cannot remember the name of the person (was a supervisor of the floor).
    My Black Berry handset works exactly the same way any other phone works now - message texting and phone calls.

    A lesson for you guys at AIRTEL - do not promise and sell stuffs if you cannot deliver the services to your customer - i am with airtel (prepaid) for over 5-6 years.

    Nothing more to add, i have spoken to countless executives with multiple false promises.

    Just to let you know SIR that this could lead airtel to some very ugly legal battles for non delivery of services.

    NOW I FEEL AIRCEL IS SO GENUINE THEY WONT OFFER SERVICE AND NOT CHARGED FOR IT.

    BUT HERE THESE AIRTEL PEOPLE CLAIM THAT THEY OFFER THIS AND THAT AND FINALLY U SPEND FOR IT . NO USE OR NO REFUNDS.

    FOR EXAMPLE I AM WITH BLACKBERRY AND I TRIED FOR A DATA PLAN GPRS DAY. RS.10/- I WAS CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE WHEN I ASK THEM SEND ME THE SETTINGS THE 121 FELLOW TELLING IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACTIVATE THEN REFUND MY MONEY. HE SAYS SORRY SIR THAT CANNOT BE DONE.

    IT IS NOT JUST 10 RS BY ME .. THINK OF MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS AND CALCULATE

    HOW MUCH THESE PEOPLE CHEAT AND EARN CROCES OF RUPPEES IN THIS WAY...

    I KNOW AIRTEL GUY HERE IN THE FORUM . RU DARE TO CHALLENGE IT ???

    I LOST Rs.21000/- in Whole .. ALL out of AirTel and to fact my average montly billing to AirTel is More than Rs.3000/- to Rs.5000/- i WILL USE MY MOBILE IN INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS AND MAKE MINIMUM CALLS OF 100 PER DAY..

    I AM A PREPAID CUSTOMER FOR MORE THAN 7YRS . WHAT I RECIEVED FOR THIS IS NOTHING BUT LAST AM FOOLED BY THIS AIRTEL.

    I WANT AIRTEL TO BE REASONBLE FOR THE LOSSES MADE AND TO START THE SERVICE SOON.. I DONT WANT FREE SERVICE LET ME PAY FOR IT . BUT OFFER ME THE SERVICE SOON.

    wtf is wrong with airtel if they cant freakin provide the services they shouldnt claim to either ....those ninkampoops have no answers to any of the queries that i imposed plus they dont give u a time period in which the services will be provided....i feel cheated ....if there's a technical problem atleast they should be helpful and apologetic instead of giving false claims ....and where the fuck is the toll free number...we have to spend money for ur fault ...whats that all bout?????

    Its hilarious that this is still happening,ive been waiting for over a month- i finally got in touch iwth the nodal officer via an email but they were useless,i made four different complaints all got the same reply saying that they'll try their best.
    I finally approached the appelate officer who was a dumb blonde she knew absolutely nothing.
    im still waiting for my services to be activated but they do absolutely nothing!!

    Oh and by the way in case anyone needs records i have my dates of each and every complaint along with name of employee.
    i also have all email records so if anyone knows the procedure to take these guys to consumer court for falsely advertising about blackberry services for prepaid please let me know.
    I'm ready to pay just to get this company which is drying out all the people!!

    Also I'm sure the media would love to hear about something like this.

    Anyone who has faced the same problem please send me your problem in professional language (malhar652@hotmail.com) avoid short forms,the reason being i have already begun creating a database of customers unable to use this scheme and once i have a sufficient amount i do plan to expose them.

    Before going to Consumer Forum you need to send a written notice to the Nodal officer and in case nodal officer will not provide you with any solution then approach the Appellate Authority ( Visit: http://www.consumercourt.in/download...el_AA_FORM.pdf for complaint format ) Keep all the copy of complaints and the registered post slip: this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Wait for their response and revert us back with full details.

    I have been calling up airtel customer care since 10 days now. Every freaking day they ask for 24hrs and each one of them says jst one thing - I WILL ESCLATE YOUR COMPLAINT MAAM !!!!
    N THEN THEY JST FRGET ABOUT IT......24HRS PASS 48HRS PASS BUT AIRTEL BB SERVICES WILL NOT WORK!!!!
    I HATEEE AIRTEL NOW!!!
    N PLZ STOP SUGGESTING TAT SHIFT TO POSTPAID BCZ IF YOU EVER DO I SUGGEST YOU SHOULD 1ST STOP OFFERING THE SERVICES
