I have 2 prepaid reliance mobile numbers 9324055207 and 9324282506 with DND applied on 04th september 2009 with Ref. Nos. 13063318490 time 4.39pm and 13063318492 time 4.40pm respectively.The message I received mentioned that it would be activated within 45 days. And that period ended on 18th October 2009, still till date I am being haunted with this unlimited sms and calls. When called their customer service number *333, he mentioned that the DND is activated, if it is so, then how come I am still receiving this sms and calls? It means this nothing but just a farce. Secondly, I want to know why does a customer need and compulsory wait for 45 days, if I am aware of the DND structure it works from the backend system and all they got to do is just make changes on the account which I feel does not take more then a minute. I have worked for a International Mobile Service Provider myself and have done 1000s of DND registrations and have completed the applications within minutes. Why is the customer put to such endless harassment of waiting 45 days. The sms and calls come in after every 5 minutes and is really frustrating, as my inbox has only 30 sms capacity and I tend to miss on important and useful sms of my own.

Further, in between I had called once just to check on the DND request and the executive comfortably told me that as it is only 36 days passed you need to wait till the 45 days are over. So, he meant in a sarcastic way that as you would be off from all this after 45 days, till then enjoy being harassed for the last time till 45 days are completed. This is sheer frustration from RELIANCE and the WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever come across.

And only to know that RELIANCE runs India, well its understood now the reason why our country INDIA is still counted in the THIRD WORLD. RELIANCE is raising billions for them at the cost of our country and its people.

Just today I called, for the harassment for this sms and calls. I was conveniently told by the executive that the complaint has been noted and actions would be taken and DND will be in force within 15 days. Huh? NOW MORE 15 days after waiting for a frustrating period of 45 days.

This is the reason I went searching on Google and came across your FORUM and decided to join immediately and voice my frustration here.
