I have a tata photon plus connection bought under a special plan of HSIA 400 Get Started. Under this plan, for Rs. 400 monthly payment (+taxes), technically I get 150 MB + 5 GB usage free for the first two months i.e. I have a per month allowance of 150 MB + 5 GB (an allowance of more than Rs 2500 worth of usage free @0.50/1 MB) for first two months (I paid EXTRA at the time of installation for this plan). Last night my internet connection was debarred by Tata Indicom and upon calling their customer service at 11.30 pm I found that because I had exceeded Rs. 1000, they had barred my connection. Upon explaining to them that I was covered under this special scheme and was allowed more than Rs. 2500 usage, Tata executive realized that the mistake was at their end and they promised the services will be initiated within 6 hours. In the morning, the net was not yet activated. I again called Tata at 7:45 am and they said by 9 am the services will be re-activated. By 9.30 pm the services had not been re-activated and I again called up Tata customer service and this time they gave me number of Mumbai Nodal office. Upon speaking to the Nodal Officer, I was told by 10 am the services will be re-started and at 10 am it was confirmed that the issue has been resolved. At 12 noon I received another call from Tata Indicom saying that because I had exceeded Rs 1000, I need to immediately pay Rs 700 failing which my net connection would be disconnected within 24 hours.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER TATA EXECUTIVES AND MANAGERS SUFFER FROM MENTAL DISEASES SO THAT I CAN DONATE SOME MONEY FOR THEIR TREATMENT.
