    Default Deactivated Vodafone mobile within validity period without any notice

    Hello Sir,
    My name is Rakesh heer.
    My complaint is regarding Mobile number 9888456714 with Vodafone.
    My Brother had this mobile number since last 6 years.
    In year 2006 he went to England for his studies and took this number with him. The number worked fine for year and then Hutch(now called vodafone)
    deactivated his number. In august 2007 he came back to india and once again I had submitted my ID to Hutch to get this number working.
    Before going back to england he recharged Rs2000 with two year validity which was supposed to expire on aug/sept 2009.
    He took his number with him and again number worked for few months and get deactivated. He was not able to acess any network in UK.
    In between Hutch was taken over by Vodafone. He called Hutch and Vodafone several times to get this number working but couldn,t recieve any information from any Customer service advisor.
    He spoke to Vodafone senior staff aswell but had no luck.
    In September he again called vodafone and customer service advisors kept him on hold for half hour, behaved agressively and then they dropped the call saying that this number is allocated to someone else.
    Because of this brother lost contact with all his friends in india and abroad.
    How the number can be allocated to someone else if my brother had validity till aug2009. He also spoke to person who own this number. he told him that this number was allocated to him in july.
    The customer service repersentatives of Vodafone says that if number is not being used for two or three months they disconnect it this is their companied policy.
    I want lodge a comlaint because of two reasons:

    1. if consumer is paid for two years of service how Vodafone can deactivate his simcard within the validity period. It is upto consumer to use or not to use the service he already paid for.

    2. Castomer service agents says they disconnect the account if no recharge is done in 3 months. What is this?. If consumer already paid for two year service and have Rs 2000 in his mobile why he will forced to recharge in three months. And like in my brother case, he was not even able to acess any network in uk. How the recharge can be successfu without any network? and Why he will recharge first place if no services(on International roaming) are available?


    I want this number to be allocated to my brother and pay us all the calls he made to hutch and vodafone, for all hrashments and disturbances made in last four years.
